Hi Pigpen - have you managed to tell your partner yet? I admire you having so many! Gotta be hard work!

    Nope.

I love softmints.. but only the peppermint ones.

I is hard work but they are usually all quite nice.. they've been $h!t$ today.. however, DS1 has cleaned the drains out the back so they drain properly.. and loaded the DW twice... he isn't entirely evil all the time.

    Good morning ladies - it's Friday!!! :j

I'm with you lot on the tiredness - last night, I lasted until 9:30pm though - woo-hoo!! Although DH tells me that when I'm asleep, I'm now snoring..... :( I read somewhere that this can happen as we become more muscus-ey - ick. :(

It's my 1st wedding anniversary today - can't believe a year has gone by since my beautiful day.... DH gave me a book this morning and a handwritten letter, bless him - it was so beautiful - he's not very good at expressing his feelings but this had me in tears over my fruit'n'fibre!! :o We're going out for a relaxed meal on Sunday afternoon - not sure I'd stay awake for an evening one!!

7 sleeps to go - *Twinkle* - how you getting on? I'm finding the wait so hard but it's easier now I'm onto the final countdown!

pigpen - are you going to tell him or just let him guess? Have any of your kids worked it out?

    xDx

i'm 12 weeks today and i'm doing fine, nothing major since finding out i was expecting, apart from the tiredness and the sicky feeling,i dont plan on buying anything until after the 20 weeks scan, and like i said before, i'm not even that inclined to ring round and tell everyone:o
i do have a lot on my plate at the moment with us just having moved house, i'm finding fault with everyroom, and my 4 yr old daughter is type 1 diabetic and we arent managing it too well at the moment so thats a worry, hopefully i'm seeing her nurses today and we can sort things out then maybe, just maybe, if things settle down, i may start to enjoy this pregnancy :)
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

Glad to see you're pregnancy is going ok - can't be easy having kids around already - I know how tired I am and I only have a DH and a dog to look after!! I hope the nurses sort something out for your DD - and don't worry about the house!! Take time to sort things when everything else has calmed down..

  • Hello ladies, hope you're all well this morning. I hope you don't mind answering a silly question :)

Myself and my OH had just agreed to move in together in a few months, however a few days ago she got her BFP! :j

It was unplanned but we're both thrilled (and nervous) as it will be our first, but I just wondered if someone could help as we're struggling to work out how the counting of the weeks works.
My OH currently lives in the dark ages and doesn't have the internet at home so I'm posting on her behalf.

She says she was last on, around the 4th Jan, but she did one of those 'how pregnant are you' tests, which said it was 3 weeks since conception. We're a little confused because if her last one was in early Jan, is she not further along than 3 weeks.
How does the counting work? :o

Sorry for being such a newbie but never had to think about all this before! thanks for all your help and for the messages posted, we have spent a nice hour reading them all :)
  • Happy anniversary ddebski! I'm looking forward to our 2nd anniversary this year, about 3 weeks after bean arrives :) should be a peaceful one :rotfl:

Was back at work yesterday, 6 hours on my feet in boiling heat did not do me any good at all, have got funny pains this morning and I'm back in there for 9 hours today :( I'm half hoping the midwife will sign me off work when I see her in a couple of weeks, just got to take it really careful until then! Oh and the smell..... it was bad before but now I'm picking up every little whiff!

    Welcome and congratulations!! :T

It's dated from the first day of her last AF (so 4th Jan) so I make her 7 weeks and 3 days (7+3)!

Get her to make an appointment with her GP to start her care and make sure she takes folic acid!!
