Hi Crispy Chris!
Congratulations to you both!
Try this calculator: http://www.bounty.com/organiser-tools/due-date-calculator?WT.ac=lhn_organiser_duedate and have a look around the website, should give you the info you're after!

Wow thank you both, didn't expect a reply so soon let alone 2!
We've followed the link you provided Winnie which apparently makes us 7+4, she's already seen the GP who didn't really help much, just gave her some literature about how to get pregnant (which made me laugh when she showed me it) as well as how to look after herself. She's got some folic acid & vit D pills that the doctor suggested and will make an appointment with the midwife in a couple of weeks.
Thank you so much0 -

xDx
The children never guess.. I'll wait for him to ask outrightmirrorimage0 wrote: »ooh just to add, a friend of mine brought round one of those doppler things where you can hear the heartbeat but im only ten weeks and to scared touse it cause if i cant find it i will panic, but its just sitting there staring at me lol
Depending on the make you might not be able to find it until about 18 weeks.. so when you do try it in about 5 minutes don't worry if it cannot be found!crispy_chris wrote: »She says she was last on, around the 4th Jan, but she did one of those 'how pregnant are you' tests, which said it was 3 weeks since conception. We're a little confused because if her last one was in early Jan, is she not further along than 3 weeks.
How does the counting work?
That makes her more than 3 weeks since conception which happens 2 weeks into the cycle so she will be due 11th October.. or thereabouts.. and be about 7-8 weeks pg now. (I'd work it out to the day but I feel sick)

Congrats crispy_chris and your OH!
Went out for meal last night and was absolutly exhausted by the time we got home, luckily have the day off work today so had a nice lie in
Seems some members of our families cant keep their mouths shut as word seems to be making its way round, I dont mind so much, just wanted to make sure everything was ok at the 12 week scan before extended family and friends started finding out.
8 + 5 for me today, really hope these next few weeks go quickly!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
What are people's thought on dyeing your hair during pregnancy?
I have an appointment on Monday to do my roots. It was booked before I knew I was pregnant and I've only just remembered the appointment.0 -
Awww, work have bought me flowers & champagne truffles for our first anniversary - gutted I can't eat the alcoholic chocolates!! Sure DH will appreciate them though!
SVsandy - I read you're not meant to have your hair dyed until after the 1st tri. Not sure what the risks are though.
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
I'm still dying my hair SVsandy but I'm dark. I have a nagging thought in the back of my mind that its only peroxide that you need to be careful with though, but don't quote me! Thats not very helpful really - sorry

sandy i dye my hair, there is no prob with doing it while preg. the only thing is , ebing preg can can your hormones so you colour may take quicker. but there certainly woulnd't harm baby or anything. i know some mums are anti every thing when preg, hair dyes, make up, caffine etc etc. as i've said before you have to make the choice based on how you feel.
i do my hair monthly at the mo as it just grows so fast, it has grown almost 2cm in the month. madness,lol.0 -
thanks everyone. I have dark hair but the colour added gives it a nice brown tone. I keep thinking that dyes aren't what they used to be like in the old days and a lot of the dangerous chemicals aren't used any more.
Women have been dyeing their hair for years and years and getting pregnant for years and years so if there is still no definitive answer saying that you shouldn't dye it, there can't have been many cases in the past hundreds of years where is has been an issue to the baby....no?0
