Feel a bit better now as it's gone on longer than last time :)
Booking appointments here are done at 8 weeks, so mine is a week on Tues - 8th March. I can't wait!

I'm currrently watching double pushchairs on ebay - oops.

Are you having many symptoms? I've been lucky so far, although I think I've had slight ms occasionally. And I seem to have gone off coffee, which I did with my last 2 pgs too.

Glad you are feeling a bit better and that you've gotten past your last date.

I got it wrong and my appointment today was just to meet the midwife and get HEAPS of leaflets and basically get registrered with the team. The midwife was lovely and has made my booking appointment for a week Friday so looking forward to that now. Pretty close to yours too!
    Mine's on 9th March, I can't wait either!!

Doc says I'm due on 24th Oct but the Bounty online thingy says 18th Oct so that's three of us in a row! :D

    That's brilliant! :D

Thanks honey. :) I'm ok. Nervous day today - hoping for no bleeding. Scan is a week on Friday - 9 more sleeps!

I have those pains when I turn over in bed quickly - they're strange aren't they!? Reassuring that you're around the same time as me (I'm 10+5) and having them too.

I think my lower abdomen (just above my lady garden!!) is starting to push out - then I have a spare tyre above that due to the extra food.... exciting isn't it - hard to hide at work though. :(

So pleased you had a great scan! As someone else said, who in their right mind would pass that opportunity up! :T

JCR - great news on vbac!! Ooh, and I think a cousin of DH has gone for the lime green my choice - looks great! I've been eyeing up the M&P Sola...... problem is I really want a boy but my favourite colour is the pink one!!! :p

Mirror - sounds like a very tiring day, but great fun!!

Doglover - I can't wait to get let loose on the shops! It's just not as much fun browsing online is it!

Have a great day everyone - weather is poop here, cold and wet. Ick.

    xDx

Thanks Debs, I was a very lucky girl. Hope the next 9 days come round quickly for you and the scan goes well.

Killiegirl - Welcome and congrats!! Hope you get your scan date soon!

I am off today as booked leave to see the midwife, just using it to rest now. Im so poorly with my Crohns that I'm sure it's really not good for my bean. How can he/she be getting any nutrients when have already been to the toilet (sorry for TMI but not for a wee) 6 times today :( I guess at least I'm not being sick too, then I'd really be feeling sorry for myself!! (You gotta look at the bright side!)

:rotfl:Pigpen are you wimping out of telling him? Maybe you should start knitting for a new baby? See how many items you can do before he asks you who they are for :p

And.. absolutely.. biggest wimp in the world me.. it took me 4 days last time.. I have so far known 11 days.. *wuss* :o:o:o:o

so maybe the knitting somethign then he wouldn't notice. how about getting him to come with you for the booking app. i think the longer you leave it the harder it will be, but then i can fully understand perhaps not telling him till u have it all confirmed.

how would he feel if he knows you've known for ages without telling him ? i know my hubby would be gutted.

    Good evening ladies.

Hi, welcome and congrats to killiegirl. Iwish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

JCR spill!! Is this man day something in your household or a national thing that has passed me by?!

Good to hear that you're all doing well and all beans seems to be healthy and very sticky :j

I've started getting stretching pains so I'm hoping that its just a bean growth spurt. Someone said to me that I'm starting to show  I'm not sure if its the huge amount of food I'm scoffing or actually my bean. I'm 15 weeks - any ideas ladies? I must admit that my need for food is starting to slowly reduce but I am still a fan of naughty grub. I am trying to mix it up with healthy stuff but the junk is far more appealing. As I didn't have any MS I didn't have that time period of no weight gain or even weight loss.

Pigpen come on, get your DP told! I'm sure he'll be really excited and then it'll be one less stress for you. I'd love to be able to knit stuff as its all so cute but I can just about sew a button on and that's the extent of my creativity. Pathetic I know!

I found out today that someone I know has the pushchair I'm after and she's given it a good review which is encouraging. I still want to have a play with lots more. I've spent 1 hour in a baby shop so far so I'm sure there'll be plenty more hours spent playing with baby bits. I have asked DH if we can go look this weekend and it looks like Sunday is the day :T.

I hope everyone's week is going well and yay to it being Friday tomorrow :T.

March 14th is a VERY important day. It's my birthday :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear from the midwife and get my scan date. I've got further than my last 2 pregnancies so am feeling good about that xx
  • You lot make me chuckle. Been checking in on you whilst at work today.

Grrr, typical. Couldn't keep my eyes open this afternoon. Managed to drag myself home, tricked husband in to cooking dinner, lay on sofa, into bed, head hits pillow....wide awake. Keeps happening at the moment. If this is a sign of things to come then...aaaaaaghhhh

Welcome Killiegirl! And congratulations :D Have you tried asking your midwife about your scan, make sure she sent the referal off etc? I saw my midwife last week and was told she would send the forms off and I should have a letter with scan date on soon.

I haven't seen a midwife yet, my doctors surgery really dragged their heels, wouldn't see me or even make a doctors appt until I did a urine test (even though i had done 2 home tests!) so from asking for an appointment to actually seeing a doctor took 3 weeks! That was only last Monday so only got referred to a midwife at that point, and the doctor reckoned it would be up to 5 weeks before I got a scan or booking appt. Haven't heard a thing yet.
