Hope your fighting fit Ddebski. Scan soon isn't it?
My news - been getting stretching pains. Like a stitch when I stand up quickly or turn sharply in bed (dr google calls it round ligament pain). And think my tummy/bump is about to pop out. Up until now I've been pretty sure it's all been belly due to putting on weight but caught a side on look in the mirror tonight and it just looks different.
Thanks honey.I'm ok. Nervous day today - hoping for no bleeding. Scan is a week on Friday - 9 more sleeps!
I have those pains when I turn over in bed quickly - they're strange aren't they!? Reassuring that you're around the same time as me (I'm 10+5) and having them too.
I think my lower abdomen (just above my lady garden!!) is starting to push out - then I have a spare tyre above that due to the extra food.... exciting isn't it - hard to hide at work though.welshpolarbear wrote: »Evening girls, and welcome Manda!
Oh my gosh, I had some amazing news today, I unexpectedly had an early scan!!! (Due to my partners profession) and everything is as it should be. We saw the heartbeat flashing and heard it too (though wouldn't have known had the sonographer and partner pointed it out!). Our bean is absolutely tiny (3.7mm) putting me at 6 weeks (+1 i think) I know it is very early days but I am so relieved that everything we were able to see was as it should be. Bean is in the right place, heart is beating, ovaries/uterus look ok etc. I know how lucky I am, and feel a bit guilty telling you all this (especially with talk of early scans on the last page) but I really wanted to share my news with someone. I hope you don't mind.
I also found out, the bean is due on my sister's birthday - 17th October - and although that may change she is seriously going to love that!!!
Hope everyone is well, MS isn't too bad and everyone's managing to get some rest x
So pleased you had a great scan! As someone else said, who in their right mind would pass that opportunity up! :T
JCR - great news on vbac!! Ooh, and I think a cousin of DH has gone for the lime green my choice - looks great! I've been eyeing up the M&P Sola...... problem is I really want a boy but my favourite colour is the pink one!!!
Mirror - sounds like a very tiring day, but great fun!!
Doglover - I can't wait to get let loose on the shops! It's just not as much fun browsing online is it!
Have a great day everyone - weather is poop here, cold and wet. Ick.

I love mr men. What will everyone at work say? Can you pretend you're buying for a niece/nephew?0

I'll say that it's a fab keepsake for the future (which they know will involve kids at some point).
I'm just scared of making a "baby purchase" before I know all is well....

I've bought loads of things from the Book People at work so far for giblet - no-one bats an eyelid but if they did I'd say there were a present - I bought 365 Disney Bedtime Stories last week - when i went to collect them it was BOGOF so I gave one to the grandmother to be
:rotfl: Also got a 12 month picture frame - 1 year old in the middle and the previous 12 months round the outside
Also been looking in Mothercares & Babies R Us - wow - so much to think about but OH is like a kid in a sweet shop :rotfl:
I'm not particularly supersticious about looking early - if something happens then it happens but the fact I've bought a few things isn't going to cause it!0 -
ddebski amazon have the mr men set for £36. ok so it a bit dearer but if you really didn't want anyone to know then theres another option for you.0

Morning everyone,
Wasnt around yesterday, been busy busy busy! Glad to see that everyone is well. Nothing major to report here, patiently waiting for scan appointment to come through the postmidwife said I should get it within about 10 days.
8 + 3 for me today, sickness has returned a little, which I have actually found quite comforting! Never thought I would want to have sickness :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Hey ladies!
Haven't been around for a few days, have been trying to relax and sleep off the nausea! Had a killer migraine too which is just plain pants but have decided I have to get out of bed and try to do something useful today seeing as I'm back to work tomorrowguess I need to make the most of the income though because I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to work in a chip shop! Not so much the lifting and the heat and all the standing up - but the smell! Urg!
Some great info on the thread though so thanks for that! The whole pushchair/travel system thing is turning into quite a debate in our house! I don't see the point of hydraulic brakes on a pram but hubby has gone a bit macho over it! I'm not quite 6 weeks yet so I've got time to win and get the pretty colour haha0
