Hi ladies, I hope you've all had a good day.
Welcome and congrats Manda. :j
Clairloo I haven't heard (read) anything - hopefully someone has or MSFC will be on again soon.
Well I will be 15 weeks tomorrow and waiting for time to pass. I made the mistake of looking at how far I am and have to go in months. No wonder we use weeks!!
I might drag DH baby window shopping at the weekend. I've spent sooooo much time looking on the internet and about an hour in a shop so I want a real look around!
Hope you all have a good eve x0 -
Hey doglover,
I wandered into mothercare today and was more than a little overwhelmed at all the things to buy. The poor girl that came to ask was I ok must have thought she'd caught a rabbit in the headlights! Then I nearly cried when looking at how small newborn clothes were. Couldn't believe I would be responsible for something so small! Message - enjoy your window shopping but be warned!
xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

no thats fine, we only have 3 consultants on the island and they are all going to be in on the meeting and all be informed so we can work together. consultant today has written eveythign in my notes and went back through all my history, all sections were perfect, no prob's. only one prob i've had in preg is first preg at 39w my blood pressure when high. which is why i was induced. she said everythign in my notes is givening her all the right answers she wanted to read.
but i did say even if we plan vbac the whole time and then it ends in section at least there has been the hope the whole time.0 -
Evening girls, and welcome Manda!
Oh my gosh, I had some amazing news today, I unexpectedly had an early scan!!! (Due to my partners profession) and everything is as it should be. We saw the heartbeat flashing and heard it too (though wouldn't have known had the sonographer and partner pointed it out!). Our bean is absolutely tiny (3.7mm) putting me at 6 weeks (+1 i think) I know it is very early days but I am so relieved that everything we were able to see was as it should be. Bean is in the right place, heart is beating, ovaries/uterus look ok etc. I know how lucky I am, and feel a bit guilty telling you all this (especially with talk of early scans on the last page) but I really wanted to share my news with someone. I hope you don't mind.
I also found out, the bean is due on my sister's birthday - 17th October - and although that may change she is seriously going to love that!!!
Hope everyone is well, MS isn't too bad and everyone's managing to get some rest x0 -
Great news welshpolarbear and jcr. That's fab for both of you. Jealous of your sneaky scan WPB but you should def make the most of it.
Sounds like a great day mirrorimage. Tiring though!
Welcome manda and anyone else new (sorry, hopeless memory).
Hope your fighting fit Ddebski. Scan soon isn't it?
My news - been getting stretching pains. Like a stitch when I stand up quickly or turn sharply in bed (dr google calls it round ligament pain). And think my tummy/bump is about to pop out. Up until now I've been pretty sure it's all been belly due to putting on weight but caught a side on look in the mirror tonight and it just looks different.0 -

No need to apologise WPB, I'm sure none of us would turn down the chance of an early scanso glad everything is looking good for you xx
I've had a few twinges today, just like very mild AF pain. I know it's completely normal at this stage (7 weeks exactly today) but it didn't stop me going to the loo every 5 minutes to check whether I'm bleeding (I'm not...touch wood!!) I have a friend at work who is 11 weeks pg, she had an mc this time last year so we're constantly reassuring each other. I was glad to have her around today
Sending good vibes to all of you xxx0 -
WPB you are due the day after me - I'm 6 +2 today and due on the 16thSealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0
