Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Oh I get it now. Your intruding LOL! :-D I was thinking that was a bit weird for under 12 weeks LOL. I am dying of my cold still lol. It's really coming out now. Streaming and sneezing everywhere. Just couldn't sleep whether lying down or sitting up til 5:30am as it was just constant. Thank you. It's all a bit mad and still not real in any way at all!! Probably because apart from the odd bit of cramping on and off and the sore boobs I am mainly symptomless! Have just rang the dr's for an appointment so will be going down in 2 weeks time at 7 weeks. My surgery never book quick!!

Well, back from appointment. Not impressed, I have to say. I mentioned a few things, and she basically kept saying taht I should ask my midife (hello? who are you?). I mentioned my bottom/back pain, and she made a face like she never heard of pain before. As it feels a bit better in the morning (after the rest), it is nothing to worry about. She then asked if I had any pains down the front, and I mentioned that I had something tonight, so she said it could be a start of SPD, but didn't suggest to see anyone, or what could I do to help it.

I now have to ring the hospital to arrange the scan/Downs screening, and will get consultant's appointment through the post for when I am about 16 weeks. It feels so long! She kept all the nots, and will be getting them back at the scan together with the blood/urine results. Or not - the scan will be in the different hospital, so the chances are they 'will get lost in transfer'.

Sorry - not feeling very happy about the appointment - I was expecting something more, some more support or anything. She didn't know how much folic acid I should be taking, what is milligram or microgram, etc. She was nice, don't get me wrong, just not what I expected.

Hi ladies just wanted to remind everyone with babybrain about amazon black friday, baby stuff starts at 3:30pm there's a nightlight, TT steriliser, TT baby monitor and at 5pm I'm guessing a cot or travel seat as the clue is "Baby, your carriage awaits"

Hugs to those that need them Gin - they're not much help pre-12 weeks tbh:( I expected more at the early appointments too and found that by the time they're worth attending you'll be getting fed up of them:) Especially if you go over:rotfl:

back pain - pillow between legs and if you think it's SPD get a girdle asap, not had it myself but know a few who have and swore the unsexy girdle was a massive help

Just adding mine.

Have really strong pregnancy symptoms so feels like a permanent hangover. Have been up 4 nights in a row with DD who is poorly, and working full-time, very, very tired and nauseous. DH commutes but is breaking is back to get home tonight to do bath and bedtime so I can rest. He's ace.

Not much chance of going over with the twins - they want them out by 38 weeks! Screening/dating scan - just sorted that out, will be on December 7th. Two weeks and one day! And seeing babies before then next Friday at the clinic.

Yes, I am. Trying to hold my excitement, as it is still early, and anything can happen, but I hope they both stay where they are until week 37 (optimistic probably).

LOL it wasn't that quick! Not the first month or 2 or 3. Was just under 6 months. You make it sound like it was the 1st month :rotfl:

Oooooooooooooooooooooo, if you're not gonna get excited can I?!?!?!?:j:j:j:j Do you know the flavours??? 7th December eh? Must be a relief they're not going to have a birthday too close to xmas:) OMG Xmas......you're house is going to be MENTAL!!! Bet you can't wait :D
Slightly late in the day but CONGRATULATIONS anyway, had you been trying long???? I think you may have been trying when I was?!?! if so, glad you've got an amazing result:D:D:D

:rotfl:Yeah but you're still twice as fast as me:p 11 cycles and 13 months for me.......was the longest year of my life:o But well worth the wait;) and even worse...I can't wait to torture myself with the process again but in a miserable moment I stupidly agreed to wait til DD is 3 before we have another:eek: Only another 2 years to go *sigh*
