  • Wow Gin, you are up early!!

Hope you have a great break WW2B :)

Well, had my scan yesterday and all went well - beanie was sleeping at first but soon woke up and treated us to a show of somersaults and waving. On the scan piccies it looks very much like he/she is sucking their thumb :) There was a good strong heartbeat so no worries there, have to go back next week for the NT scan as awkward monkey was lay in wrong position. Not complaining though, its an extra chance to see scan :D

Fantastic, jovichick! And a second chance to see the baby next week! I have to say, when I go for a scan, while I am there, I think I don't want to do this every week, I am not that paranoid, but as soon as I leave the clinic, I wish I could come back in a few days to to confirm all is ok. I have some pains in the lower tummy again, haven't had any for a while, I guess it should be like that with the stretching, etc, but I would like to just have a scan to see all is ok. I have on next Friday nad then the following Wednesday NHS (NT one), so not long to wait!

I wasn't awake by my own will. I had to go to the office this morning, and it is easier to park, and train is less crowded if I take the early train (leaving station 6.53 am!!!), so I was up at 5.30, having my breakfast whilst posting, and out of the house by 6.30am!

I am going to pop in into GP surgery after work today and book an appointment with the GP. My hip pain is getting worse, I had a painful walk to the office from the station (it is usually about 10min, took a bit longer today), and I am also staring to get some pain on the inside of the thigh/groin area - had some pains as I was turning over at night, and half sleepy wasn't sure if it was just me stretching the muscle too much or what, but now I think it could be something else. At least if I speak to GP, he might confirm if this could be a start of SPD or maybe refer to a specialist. I am only 11 weeks today - so if it is starting already, I am not going to be able to walk by Christmas if I do nothing!!!!

  • Hi Gin,

I wouldn't worry too much about the pains in the lower tummy, I am still having some twinges, I think they are just growing/stretching pains :)

Hope you get your hip and leg pain sorted out soon - referral to a specialist is probably the best thing.

  • Hi everyone/(lurkers too:D)

Congrats on the scan, Jovi:j Must be such a relief to graduate to next stage. Are you going to find out the sex at 20wks?

Ooh la la, Enjoy Paris, Whowannts2Brich:p

Gin, I think the doc appointment for the hip is a good move - maybe you can get a physio referral from this.

Moneysaver12 I've been getting emotional at some odd things - like DIYSOS and the John Lewis ad.

Rebekah Hope you've shook your cold off now.

AFM, 10 days til my scan and feeling pretty good so far.

Does anyone else find sneezing agony?the muscles all really stretch.

Not so much as did in earlier weeks. On occasion I was sitting in the clients office and sneezed... Oh my did that hurt - I couldn't breath for a few moments, and it felt like my stomach was torn in half! It hasn't been so bad since, so maybe that one sneeze really stretched things out.

However, I am still dreading when I feel sneeze coming up!

Still here :( At the snotty and chesty cough stage now. And I still can't hear anything lol. Everything is so distant and yet so loud all at once. Hubby has come home from America with a cold! Hope I don't catch this one and we swap breeds:eek:
Yes I find when I cough that I feel odd mucles stretch on each side down there.
Had a tad of spotting last night. But not had any for ages, none since and no pain so not bothered.
