Morning All. I recieved my BFP over the weekend and am now 4+2. I don't really feel pregnant at all! I don't think I have morning sickness per say but I am finding it very hard to eat meals at the moment. I am always hungry but when I try to eat I feel unsettled after and a tad queasy. My goal is the little and often mantra but really getting fed up of eating now!Not been to gp yet will make an appointment next week.
Welcome to the post-TTC thread conversation.... and yes, you WILL feel pregnant soon enough, trust me. As I keep saying to my DW, at the moment, as long as she still feels carp then everything's going well and I'm not going to worry. So far, the theory's holding... :THaving fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -

Little bit upset after midwife appointment as have been classified as high risk pregnancy, due to history of migraines, kidney infections, depression, pregnancy induced hypertension - and having a different father to DD! How the heck does that make a difference - I'd be more worried if I was with the same partner!
It means I need to see a doctor at 22 weeks, and also the neonatal mental health team for an assessment. Am hoping both will just refer me back to the community mid wife team.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Had our scan today - all is fine. Babies measured 10 weeks and 10w+1, strong heartbeats, arms and legs moving around! We spent all day in Liverpool, so only got home just before 7pm, very tired.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Evening all :hello:
I have been a lurker for many, many years on the MoneySavingExpert forums but it would seem that I never actually got round to registering til tonight, having stumbled on this thread.
GP confirmed I was 5.5wks pregnant on Tue 8th Nov, due 5th July (~7wks now then) which if fab news as we had been trying since Christmas.
I have actually been off work ill since 8th with a terrible sinus cold. Feeling much better today, so I have spent most of the day on the net checking out all sorts of things baby related. OMG, there is alot to purchase and I am going to have a bit of a problem as I have a Fabia VRs ref car seats and pushchairs in the boot and I would think shortly after Christmas I will not be able to ride my motorbike - booohooo.
Gonna have to wait another couple of weeks for MW to contact me, will it take an age?
So far not feeling ill or off food which is good.
I'll spend a bit of time looking back at the older posts to get to know you all a bit better and I hope we all transition to the next threads together.Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect, you've just decided to see beyond the imperfection.....0 -

Certainly I know this time round we had weekly scans from her from weeks 5-11 and it made a huge difference in terms of stress and sanity levels if nowt else (and possibly the outcome to be honest - although with that you never know 100%)

It doesn;t explain why, only that if you have unexplained mc then supportive care and extra scans really makes a difference - the figures are staggering actually. 86 per cent went to term with the extra care, compared with 33 per cent of people given standard care.
As I have 'only' had 3 rather than three in a row and so am not counted as recurrent yet (and hope I am not ever TBH!) I am collecting this stuff as ammunition for demanding extra scans and better care when I next get pregnant.

Just updated with my scan date.
Hi Rebekkah - congrats on your BFP :T
Nausea moved on to full on throwing up this week (9+1 it started on), have been off work since Tuesday afternoon as I'm struggling to keep anything down except milk, including water. My very sweet best friend brought me flowers and maltesers last night... I thought I did very well not to cry.
Very excited that I'm only 17 days from my first scan, I just feel like that little picture is going to make all this feeling awful worthwhile.0 -

And the spotting/bleeding seems to have come to an end so far, so hopefully all will be ok with us, my DW is still feeling really nauseous, and wanting to eat like a troffer, so that can only be a good thing. Right?Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0
