Morning all. You lot are very quiet today, hope you're all ok. I've discovered that getting up at 4.30am is no fun when your PG, especially when you have to put on a load of thick bulky safety gear and work in a boiling hot office/plant!!! Been struggling with the nausea to say the least! Feeling better now I've woken up though...till it gets nearer lunchtime then it'll be back!!!0

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if anyone is 'showing' yet? With my first pregnancy, I didn't show until I was at least 4.5 months gone and my female boss hadn't realised I was pregnant when I announced it at 5.5 months gone.
This time round, we're about 6 weeks in and I 'look' pregnant in my opinion. My belly is definitely rounded, no amount of breathing in will hide it and I've not put weight on anywhere else.
Is this unusual???!!0 -
I am huge and im only 11+1 they say because I have had so many pregnancies i will grow quicker i dont know why0

Definitely not showing at just under 5 weeks! The only thing that is showing is the remains of OHSS, which still occasionally result in me ballooning for a bit, so that I can't wear any of my usual trousers, and I have a dress that is a bit looser. That is despite me losing half a pound since I went to the slimming world meeting 3 weeks ago! Hope that this goes soon, as it is a bit annoying not being able to wear the usual work clothes.
I have a question: would you drink raspberry, cranberry and elderflower tea? I got a few teabags left for me by a colleague (I always liked fruity teas), but I know that raspberry tea is not good for you until near the end of the pregnancy. I am getting a bit fed up with the peppermint today...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hi yeah I'd drink raspberry leaf tea in early pregnancy. I would have assumed that all fruit tea would have been better than ordinary tea.
I also did a search and it seems other ladies think the same http://www.mothering.com/community/t/6070/raspberry-leaf-tea
If you are at all uncomfortable or unsure yourself though, I'd err on the side of caution. I'm all for trusting my own instincts above the opinions of others.
I'm concerned that I'm 'showing' too much for how early on I am in the pregnancy. My clothes are already getting too tight (my button popped off my combats yesterday!) and last time round I didn't get any maternity stuff til I was 7 months gone!
Also, what's OHSS?0 -
Hi all,
I have a "belly" (that i cant suck in!) I'm just over 7 weeks an am quit surprised how hard my tummy feels. This is my first so I'm just gonna go with the flow, don't think I'll need mat clothes for a little while yet.
Finally got my booking appointment arranged with the midwife today. Can't come quick enough don't think it will sink in till we have spoken to her. (roll on 25 Oct!!)
Anyway hope your all well. XIs now Mrs H after marrying my amazing husband :j
Expecting our first bump to hatch 29th may 2012 :j0 -
Hi girls, just wanted to add my experience, I'm nearly 14 weeks, and still nowhere near showing, still in my normal bottoms. This being my 1st, I'm hoping to get away with it for as long as possible but I do worry about bubs inside!
Hope you all are well xxSealed Pot Challenge Member #8810 -
I am 11 weeks today and did have a belly but it seems to have gone down a bit now so probably was more bowel than baby0

Hi Plans - and congrats :j
I am in a similar position to you, 2nd pregancy - am 6 + 3 today and I definatly have a more 'rounded' belly than I did last time round. Maybe it's something to do with second pregnancies :think:0 -
I ve just got back from my first scan and I am further on than I thought - I thought I was 11+5 (ish) but I am actually 13+2! So pleased Pip is now due on 15th April.
Pics not that clear - apparently I didnt drink as much as I was supposed to. But we saw the little heart beating away which was so reassuring. Pip is on his/her tummy looking down with little bottom pointing upwards. You can see the cute little nose on the scan!
So I guess I am moving on to the 12-24 week thread now.
Good luck and best wishes to everyone. I dont post a huge amount but I love to read everyone's experiences and find it so reassuring to know that others are feeling the same as me.
Also, just to add, this is my first and I feel like I am showing now, I ve certainly got a tummy and cant bear waistbands digging in to my "bump"!0
