I had a huge mouth ulcer, at the bottom front that covered all 4 front teeth - was a nightmare ! Im sure its because our immunity and defense is a little sapped by baby taking what it needs.

My scan is on friday, feeling so excited and dreading it all at once. I have a consultant appt after which Im hoping will be just a formality

Woohoo, got a date for my booking in appointment, Friday 23rd. That also solves my problem with having a work lunch that day and being expected to drink when I cant :0)

Hi Ladies. Good news, the scan went really well and the little squirt is doing fine!! Its sooooo tiny (9mm!!) but we saw its little heart fluttering. DH was in tears bless him! We're both so relieved. They said I'm about 6+6 but its very difficult to be accurate this early and I think I'm 7+1or2 so about right really. I'll try and get my picture on but not sure if it'll work

You can't see much anyway, especially on the scanned in image!

Thats great news Lisa, I am 6+6 too so guess my little fella will be about the same size :0)

(S)he will grow quickly though - according to my book at 10 weeks Sir Alex is 5cm long - quite an increase in just over three weeks!

Its amazing isn't it! Apparently 3 weeks ago it was the size of a poppy seed....how small are they?!

Emsbet, I would have been crying too, it is things like that which set me off. Early night for me tonight, OH is at his mums for tea so I will pick DS up, get him sorted, do an hour ironing, bath and bed

I've just been looking at reviews for hotels as we're looking to book somewhere and I was almost in tears at a lovely review someone had left about the hotel they went to for their 1st wedding anniversary!!! Talk about hormonal!!!
