Hope everyone is well. I'm in bed now watching tv as im so tired!! Can't wait for this tired feeling to ease!!

Looking forward to my scan though only 3 more sleeps!! Ha ha

I'm not going to bother going anymore as its free for me as a target member but once I start putting weight on and go away from my target I'd have to start paying again. I have some scales at home so I'll just keep an eye on things myself.

We had a lovely meal last night, some friends came round. I think they may have guessed our secret but didn't say anything! They know we've been TTCing and me drinking [STRIKE]vodka and[/STRIKE] lemonade while they had wine may have been a bit of a giveaway!!!

DH is now wanting to go for a walk, I'm shattered after a couple of hours gardening but I'd best go if he wants to as I'm always moaning that he won't go when I want to!!

Hi Ladies, not logged on for a while as been away to blackpool for a week. Im 11+1 now, however my scan was booked for when im 14+1... has anyone ever had this? She said because i didnt want the bloods done for the downsyndrome test i am not priority. Hmm its annoyed me now as i will worry till the scan

candie- gill, it seems to vary so much from one area to the next ! Im now 10+2 and my midwife says to expect my scan around 13 weeks ish. however this is because I AM having the downsyndrome test ?!

My MS is mucking me about at the moment, felt shocking fri afternoon yet full of energy at work friday night. Today I have a hangover like Ive been on a 3 day bender :eek: and I dont know what to do with myself - all in a good cause though i suppose

With my first two I opted not to screen for downs so didn't have a 12 week scan at all! I had one at around 6 or 7 weeks, then nothing to the anomaly scan at 20 weeks.

Last time round I had one at 7 weeks, one at 12, one at 20 and one at 32, as baby was breech. Was nice to see bubs so much.

Mine is when I'm 12+1 but that is still four weeks and I'm getting sooooo impatient
I think it varies a lot between areas and is usually between 10 and 14 weeks.

Nicki I'd hate to not have one at all even though we had one at 6weeks.

I'm 8weeks today :j and my nausea has come back this afternoon- that will teach me for moaning :rotfl:

Ah emsbet, at least u can relax now you have nausea again!!
I had my 1st scan at (by my dates) 11+6, however only measured 10+6, bubs was too small to do the screening tests, so went back 12 days later. I was told they can do the screening until 13+6.
I have had 3 scans with each previous pregnancy, and this time, i`ve already had 2, still have my sexing scan and then my 20 week one! I`m doing well this time haha!!

Ive only ever had 12 and 20 week scans. 12 is the initial checks and the 20 week being the sexing scan and anomaly scan.

Difficult day to keep things secret. We had family visiting and I had to try to find plausible excuses to explain why I wasn't drinking coffee (the smell of which makes me want to puke at the moment) and wine with lunch. Not sure how convinced they were! The early days are so hard, they feel like they pass so slowly!
