Msas. My best friend is currently 16 weeks PG, having had a missed M/c earlier this year. She waited one period before trying, and caught her sticky bean straight away! Our other friend is 25 weeks, and also had a m/c in december, waited 2 months, and caught 2 months after.

Kira thanx for that i had a mc in june 2010 at 6 weeks and it took till may this yr to get caught again and then lost beanie at 10+4 so i was worried about waiting too long to try again as it seems to take me ages to get caught and my hubby and i really want a LO. Think i may wait the 2 months if i can to give it the best chance :) xx

    No not too personal.

Nobody said anything to us about how long to wait (although I wasn't as far along as you). I did some reading on the internet and what I found was that they told people to wait two/three months mostly due to the psychological effects of a mc (this may not be the case and it's just what I found not medical advice :o). Anyway I couldn't find anything that said that there was any medical reason why we couldn't try again and everything I read said try when you are ready.

We started trying straight away (well once I had a negative HPT -you won't ovulate until your HcG levels have dropped down again - at least I think that's right). but my first cycle was very short (only 21 days) and my AF was heavy and had clots so I think my body hadn't gotten over the mc. I think that AF did my body good and cleared it out to start afresh as we got lucky the next cycle.

    How are you doing?

    xx

Im doing ok now was a mess to begin with but think it helped that i knew before i had the scan what had happened so it didnt come as a shock think i have gone through all the emotions now and have finally realised i did nothing wrong it just wasnt meant to be im just hoping it will be 3rd time lucky next time :)

Been reading back through the posts and i cant believe how far gone you all are now man time flys lol.

Think i will see what my next period is like and have to go back to the epu to check everything is clear so will know more then i just wish they had intervened as the pain was agony and as i wasnt expecting it as had hardly any pain last yr they could have warned me what to expect but hey ho xx
