Thanks for the info janninew!

No worries, I hope somebody can take advantage! I know when you're looking at prams there is so many to look at, and so many different offers on!
I'm so sad I have mine in my dining room and every now and then I take it out to my garden for a little push! My neighbours probably think I'm barking!
I have encountered a slight problem with my dogs and the pram, they are scared to death of it, they won't go near it and when I push it they run away!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Hi All, I've finally made it over from the TTC thread
It's quite liberating being allowed to actually HAVE symptoms, rather than getting the waggly finger under QQ's watchful eye!
I think I'm 4+5 today, and although I'd been keeping an eye out for anything different in me, not much had changed except I was super thirsty and weeing more (but, like Icey, my bowels have slowed down a lot!) until today when I've been feeling really quite queasy around lunchtime. Boo. On the up side, it seems to have passed a bit now.
I'm going to see the dr tonight and I'm worried they're going to think I'm super eager (which clearly I am) - I tried to get an appointment for late this week or next week sometime, but apparently they didn't have any so I had to be seen tonight? Strange stuff. What are they going to ask me/do while I'm there, by the way?0 -
My first appointment with the doctor was just to get referred to the Hospital for scans etc. They may take your blood pressure and a urine sample but they may not. My doctor just asked if I was feeling ok, date of last period etc

Got my scan date through! :j It's on the 26th September, which is 6 days after my birthday so if everything is well it will be a lovely late birthday present for me
Can't wait to see little bean again!
xx
:j:j yay!! I'm beginning to think mine is too early for the 16th...
What a lovely birthday present for you!!I have not posted for a while as I have been in hospital on a drip for 2 weeks as I was dehydrated then came home and had to be on bed rest for another week!! Im 10 weeks and starting to feel a little human again although I'm still being sick just not as much!
Anyway I hope everyone is doing ok. Xx
Hope you are feeling better sammie03, I bet you are looking fwd to your scan next week
We will probably be finding out the sex when I have my 20 week scan. All this time DH said he wouldn't want to know so I had prepared myself for not having the surprise but he then said to me the other day that we would!! I can easily change my mind though!!Hi All, I've finally made it over from the TTC thread

Hi Sa-ra-ra-ra!! I've not had hardly any symptons apart from sleeping more than usual, i *think* my bowels have slowed and i *think* i feeling more hungry more often but that might just be the normal me (if you want to call me normal :rotfl::rotfl:)
No harm in seeing the docs i suppose... every area is different. I never saw my doc only the midwife pretty much as soon as I found out i was pg. Some people HAVE to see their GP and some people dont see midwife untl much later on... so who knows!!
As for me, well i'm 6+6 today (i think)... will be 7 weeks on Wednesday... does that makes sense?? Cos that what it says on my app which means I'm going to be 6+7 tomorrow (but doesn't that mean i'm 7 weeks tomorrow instead?) i dunno  Confused.com
Great to see all the newbies, it's a bit more liveely on here now!

We have decided to find out the sex this time round, with the boys that moment when my husband blubbed "its a boy" was amazing and we wouldnt change that but this time round for practical reasons its seems to make sense !
Tinkwings, I have a borderline underactive thyroid and have been told to be tested again in 3 months time ?! which seemed a bit of a long time away, but the doctor seemed to think it didnt need any medication/treatment at the moment.

Over active for me and being tested again as soon as they can and if the tests ccome back the same as now then it means tablets ASAP and extra bloods for me
Just phoned my MW !! She was so sweet she is looking forward to me making cakes for her againIf you can think it........it will happen0 -

When was the first day of your LMP? If you are 6+6 then you would be 7 weeks tomorrow

Ah, yes, the sleeping. I had a three hour 'nap' yesterday afternoon... then went to bed at 9.30!
I'm definitely feeling more hungry as well.
We are going to find out the sex, we're bad with surprises and I want to be able to secretly call the baby by its name!0 -

Welcome Sarararara!
The being extra thirsty was my first symptom really. I have had more frequent need to wee but I already go quite a lot so I have only noticed it now and again.
My other symptoms have only really kicked in in the last week or so and they have been sore boobs on and off, tiredness, and nausea (no sickness thankfully) and food aversions.
I first saw my doctor at 5 weeks so that's not much later than you. My booking in will be at almost 10 weeks and the 12 weeks scan (not my first as I had an early one due to previous mc and some slight spotting) at 12+1. Some areas do things a lot quicker (Like Goppers) and some a bit slower.
