Asda baby event starts 30th Aug...I might stock up on bits as I will be 12 wks by then. I like those tommee tippee bottles and last time they were 6 for £10! Has anyone used them?!

Yes! Me, i did with DD3, and am planning on using them again this time round, they r very very good, and trust me, we have used dozens of types of bottles over the years! xx

    Afternoon Girls!

Hope you are all doing OK? Hi to all the newbies too!

Ummm, the bit about the sales - we've been told that there aren't really sales as such, just new models coming in and they go hand in hand with increased prices. Babies aren't a seasonal thing apparently :rotfl:

I shall be 12 weeks on Tuesday, it has gone fairly swiftly now that I look back on it, but I'm not budging over to the 12-24 week thread until I have had my 12 week scan ... at 13 weeks. So you get me for another week, lucky things! ;)

I bought my first piece of maternity wear today, I found a nice pair of white (I know!!) cropped trousers in the New Look sale, they were marked down from £17 to £10 and when they went through the till they came up as £5!! Bargainous :D They are generous on me at the moment but I will grow into them - it's been 20 odd years since someone last said that about me and clothes :rotfl:

TMI alert - has anyone else noticed that their bowels are slowing? Not quite a complete stop, thankfully but definitely slower, I'm guessing it's down to the extra iron in the supplements?

Hope you're all having a nice weekend. I am watching The Kings Speech whilst DH is at work :o

    Welcome silly mare

Icey mine have too. I think it's a combination of iron in the mum to be supplements and also apparently your bowels slow down to allow your body to absorb the extra nutrients needed for beanie :)

Mishka I'm sure they'll be happy with either a brother or sister. When my mum was expecting my sister I really really wanted a brother as I already had a sister but it wasn't too be and it turned out I was chuffed with a sister :)
