Went to the doctor today about the headaches I've been having, she said more than likely migraines brought on from pregnancy. They are honestly so sore, I have to lie in the dark and not move at all or it hurts even more. Told her I'm literally living on soup and toast because I can't stand for long enough in the kitchen to make any food. I've to go back in a week and see how I am. Grrrrr.

Awww, i have the headaches too- only mild though. During my first pregnancy they plagued me during the first 12 weeks, it wont be long till the subside for you hopefully :)

Thanks girls, that cheers me up slightly. I'm 12 weeks on Monday. Going home to visit my folks next week and want to be well enough to go and see everyone.

  • I guess I should join this thread? I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow. It was a suprise, a lovely surprise....on my 40th birthday!! Ha! I have an 8 yr old son, this is my second. So far lots of heartburn and headaches. I am showing much earlier than in my previous pregnancy and cramping more, but then again I am older. Midwife next week, scan in 2 weeks, I can't wait!

Hey welcome:j I'm also going to be 10 weeks tomorrow:T

Argh I'm getting so fed up now. Seems like I'm getting every ailment in this preg. Been short of breath for a few days which I assumed was because of my panic attack. Now have a cough so it may be another chest infection:mad: on a plus side,my arthritis has completely disappeared:j

Hope everyone is doing ok. It's our 18th wedding anniversary tomorrow. I'm not up to a meal out due to sickness,so am looking forward to a Chinese takeaway. What's everyone's views on eating prawns? Lots of different views online:eek:

    Hi All

Just got up...went to bed 11 too

Not sure about prawns? Does the nhs website say anything?

I really fancy a boiled egg with toast but there is conflicting info about that too....does anyone know if we should or shouldnt?

Morning Everyone- 10 hours sleep for me last night :D On the negative side my Symphis Pubis is back already, first pregnancy was plagued by it and now its back again arghhh.

Prawns are a no go, although i still eat them! I dont smoke, or drink so a few prawns should be ok. Egg is fine aslong as its fully cooked and no runny white or yolk.

Just back from hospital after struggling to breathe. Was given a heart trace and put on a nebuliser which made me feel like a new woman. Been given an inhaler so hopefully will do the trick.

You're having a rough time of it Lucy :( hope you feel better soon.

I'm half way through a mountain of batch cooking, having a rest, it's so warm in the flat today, wish I could be out enjoying the sunshine.
