Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Morning everyone,
Well I've told the kids at the weekend and it all went really well, my daughter was very excited and my son just smiled. We all had a big discussion about the house and where the baby will sleep and what changes will happen, I reassured them that we will still be going on our planned holiday in the summer. I also went into work yesterday and told my boss, not something I wanted to do but I've been so ill there was no other option. He was brilliant and gave me a big hug and then told me to go home until I felt better.

I took myself off to the doc's and came away with some anti sickness tablets, and some seeds (as the doctor called them) taped to my wrist. The tablets have wiped me out and I slept all of yesterday but feel a bit better today, I've still got the nausea but was only sick twice yesterday and nothing so far today. Just need to tell my head its ok to eat now as I was so sick of throwing up I was scared to eat anything.

Just hope that it gets easier from here on in.

Thanks twinpig. It was a big relief cos it means I don't have to hide being ill. I thought I was over the shakes and nausea but obviously not!

Hi. Can anyone help? Been given some different anti biotics. Only trouble is,they really smell( hubby says they don't but because I'm preg they smell really strong to me),also they are round and I find these so hard to swallow. Do you think it'd be possible to go back to chemist and they'd be able to give me a different type?:o

Finally my booking in appointment today

excited it's finally here, because I know my scan will start to get organised now. Only thing I hate having blood taken, they can never find a vein so just repeatedly stab my arm

I'm not sure about that Lucy but no harm in asking is there

mmm, not too sure. I'm terrible with tablets, so can totally understand. I suppose you could just ask? I think most of them are rather large though. Well that's how they always seem to me!!

I couldnt find the vicks so I used toothpaste:D It worked:T:rotfl:
