I've felt like rubbish all day, I literally want to do nothing but sleep. Went into the kitchen OH was cooking sausages, the smell just set me off and I was sick

I can't wait until my energy is back!

Thanks Kira. Might try give them a phone tomorrow! Have spent so much bloody money on our cell phone trying to phone them. You're on hold for ages!!!

Have printed off my vouchers Jenjade, will see when i can collect them.

Hi Guys

I had my scan date yesterday and it's tomorrow :eek:. I'm excited but a bit nervous too as it's a possibility he/she may have a heart condition from my OH. I'm sure it'll be fine but I can tell that my DH is anxious!!

Kimmy.. is it highly unlikely they will be able to get an in detail look at the heart which is why they do the anomaly scan at 20 weeks to check stuff like this.. bear in mind the baby will be about 5cm from the top of its head to its bottom you can imagine how tiny the heart is.!

Hey everyone haven't been here for a little while so got loads of catching up to do.

Well on saturday I was ill thought i was loosing our bean the pain in my side was horrendous I cried pretty much all day !

I rang our local early pregnancy unit who sent me to A & E they suspected appendicitis or ectopic so after many hours they performed a small scan and deffo not ectopic small bean very clear to make out and has a little heartbeat

I was so relieved I cried OH was with me and he too cried bless him I think it all became real at that point

My bloods were clear of infection too they sent me home with painkillers and ordered to rest and we have an appt for an early scan this friday just so they can see in more detail that all is well. The pain has now settled but remains unexplained

Since then the sickness has kicked in terrible but I'm surviving it so far I also suspect that come friday they will bring my dates forward because it was very clear to make out and he warned us prior to the scan that we may not see anything because of it being so early 6 and a half wks apparently and the scan equipment wasn't very good but it was all very clear to see.

The doctor performing the scan was great the grin that appeared on his face when he saw our baby is a memory i'll keep forever he looked genuinely pleased with his findings after previously looking worried.

So thats us am gonna have a read through the other posts now hope everyone is well

Would your gp not have the number for the midwife service mozzy ? just ours do and were happy to give to me if not could you ask them to pass on an alternative number for you maybe a mobile or something ? just an idea I'd be frustrated with talk talk too a little while ago they redirected all of my calls to a neighbour who then listened to all of my voicemails mistakenly thinking they were for them grrrrr i'm still waiting for an apology !!
