  • Morning girls!

    Congratulations on number 7 Durham05!

Thanks for the info about the backwards tilting uterus Twi1ight, the achy pains are just like that - also seem to be worse after I eat? Anyone else noticed that?

Was thinking about Sequeena all day yesterday, hoping for news soon.

Hope everyone has a good day xxx

Thanks galvanizersbaby. The reason I ask is because the doctor and midwife think I am 2 and a half weeks further than I think I am (as I think i had a period but they think it could have been an implantation bleed). I have a feeling that when they book me in for a scan, bean will a lot younger than they think he will be and I wondered what I would see.
Glad it will look more baby like.

I still don't think it's properly sunk in that I'm pregnant. Probably as I have no symptoms whatsoever. Except 1 boob is growing at a rapid rate! Looks very odd!

I read your post and your bleed does sound like an implantation bleed rather than a period.
When I was pg with DD I had a bleed around the time of my period but it was much lighter and only lasted a day - I assumed it was my period - it wasn't till the following month that I missed my next period I began to smell a rat and took a test.
It's really common to have an implantatiin bleed.
Either way at 10 weeks you should be able to see something resembling a baby - when is your scan? x

Congratulations Durham05!! My pregnancy was very much unplanned as well, and it is still sinking in, was dreading telling OH but he was over the moon and we are both very excited about it now :D

Been thinking about Sequeena again, really hope shes ok.

I have a question - is anyone else already needing new bras? I am 6 +5 and I need to go and get measured because my bras feel really tight and digging :o

Hello ladies - I'm back!!

I see there are lots of newbies - big congratulations to you all - I hope your "stay" here on this thread is as easy as possible! :D

I have read through but there's so much to remember; baby brain and tiredness isn't helping so ((((HUGS)))) to all those who need them - I think there are a few spotting ladies - hoping all is well there - I also seem to think we're waiting on news from Sequeena?

Gembaxter - sorry your DH didn't get his job - they'll be something better around the corner :)

Claireloo - congrats on your scan sweetie :T - you wrote it so well; can't wait for mine! 3 weeks today!

Well, 9 weeks today.:j Just back from Copenhagen last night and am shattered - we got home at 11:30pm and I was at work for 7:30am this morning. Did loads of walking and probably not enough eating out there as it was so expensive - bit worried bean wasn't that well looked after but I remembered my folic acid and I do have the start of a bump! :D

    xDx

galvanizersbaby, I haven't got a scan date yet. I have my MW appt next Thursday but when we talked about it over the phone she said she would try and get me in for 12-13 weeks which I thought could be 10 weeks if it was a period that i had. I'd be more than happy to be further along than I think I am though and so would my husband!

Just wondering and I know this is an odd question. When you have a scan at 10 weeks, does the picture look like a baby or more blob like.
I've only ever seen my friend's 12 week picture scans.

It was a baby on the screen, even with my half full bladder and uncooperative uterus :) big head and body, tiny blobs for arms and legs and a flickering dot heartbeat. It was jumping about too which pleased husband. The printed picture is rubbish though and very blurry. Can really only see head and body. A friend posted 14 week scan picture on facebook last night which is tons better but I'm glad to have had mine already instead of waiting another 4 weeks.
  • Hi girls, hope everyone is well and that we hear from Sequeena soon.

I was wondering if anyone knows or has any advice on the best Pregnancy Vitamins, and being MSE, if anyone knows of any discount on any. I have been taking folic acid for about three months now but that's about it.

ddebski - that's lovely! I can't wait for mine, sure it'll make it feel all the more real!!
  • morning ladies :)
i'm 10 weeks today, no major worries but the tiredness is unreal, seriously, how i get through the day i never know, my 4 yr old has diabetes so i'm getting up to check on her most nights too, on top of that, i'm moving over the weekend, the house i'm in is soooo tiny, the baby would of ended up in the tea towel drawer, lol. i'd rather move now though than wait until i'm further along. a fun weekend ahead i think!
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

It's only a teeny bump - like my uterus is poking out slightly above my pubic bone, but it's there. TBH, it just looks like I'm fat!

I was taking Pregnacare (usually can get 3 for 2 at Boots/Asda etc) at around £3-£4 a box, but I've stopped as I was feeling bloated and I heard the iron in them can cause that - am back on the folic acid now.

    xDx

    Still - it's a bump :j

I have the same problem with iron. I've always been anaemic and have never been able to tolerate iron (so much that i had an anafilactic reaction to the a drip they once tried me on) so as you can imagine I'm hoping to find some Pregnancy Vitamins with non in them. I very much doubt I'll find them though!! Going to end up buying lots of packs of vitamins singley (spell?) at this rate!
