I am 6+2 today and have just started bleeding again.Had this last week but it was more brown. It is red now!! Not sure whether to phone out of hrs doc or just wait.Have got a private scan booked for next week, hopefully could bring it forward. Its so unfair all of this, sorry for rant but just want it all to be ok this time.

I was a bleeder...well, spotted then clots and had my emergency scan at 5+6. All was ok and I'm 28 weeks on Monday.

Call your EPU...I had a private one booked but didn't need it after having the emergency one so every cloud and all that. x

Morning all! Haven't been around much recently as work has been keeping me busy which is good because keeps my mind off things.

Huge welcome to everyone new and enormous hugs to anyone who's troubled.

My morning sickness has been very mild but wanted to say I've found Extra mints (like the chewing gum but little mints) great when my stomach starts churning and also to ease the foul bitter taste I keep getting in my mouth. It's not metallic like I have read it can be, just really bitter and I had to stop eating all the time to get rid of it.

Had my booking appointment and dating scan this week. A word of advice to you all: when they say "drink at least 1 pint of non fizzy fluid 1 hour before" - drink more. I did and it didn't go through quick enough so they couldn't see clearly and made me drink more and wait 20 minutes :o

Anyway, scan went well and they dated me as 10+3 today which is exactly what I thought all along (I had pinpointed ovulation using BBT) so WOOO I WIN :T heehee. Have now told close family and friends.

Oh yeah. Hi jcr  glad you are ok

One other thing. I had (and still sometimes get) lots of cramping in the very early weeks. Felt somewhere between period pain and upset tummy cramps. Someone mentioned that it can be down to a backwards tilting uterus. Well, at the scan the lady said my uterus was tilting back and made it harder to see clearly. So that theory was likely true for me.

Afternoon everyone! cant believe how many newbies we have its fab! still feeling awful and so tired its untrue! cant wait for midwife appointment now getting really impatient, I havent been to GP when I rang docs and said I was pregnant they booked me straight in to see midwife but I'll be 9 weeks according to last period does this sound right, everyone seems to be going alot sooner than me lol x

I was concerned I had heard nothing at 8-9 weeks pregnant. I kept calling the midwifery team and they told me each time they had lost my paperwork and did not exist on their system.

I then found out this week that someone somewhere wrote down the wrong EDD and therefore they thought I was only 6 weeks pregnant.

Make sure you keep calling. I will now be 11+4 when I eventually get to see someone.

Just wondering and I know this is an odd question. When you have a scan at 10 weeks, does the picture look like a baby or more blob like.
I've only ever seen my friend's 12 week picture scans.

Thanks galvanizersbaby. The reason I ask is because the doctor and midwife think I am 2 and a half weeks further than I think I am (as I think i had a period but they think it could have been an implantation bleed). I have a feeling that when they book me in for a scan, bean will a lot younger than they think he will be and I wondered what I would see.
Glad it will look more baby like.

I still don't think it's properly sunk in that I'm pregnant. Probably as I have no symptoms whatsoever. Except 1 boob is growing at a rapid rate! Looks very odd!
