Just wanted to say at my early scan I was 6-7 days out, even tough we had inseminated, and I knew my dates for absolutely SURE... but by 12 weeks, I had caught up! I think its difficult for them to date it so early on, so don't worry!

Yay tinks great news!

My first private scan put me back 3 weeks :eek: (to 7+4 when i thought i was 10+) so 5 days is nothing to worry about.

ETA: I'm 16+5 now and all is well, dates at 12 week scan ended up somewhere in the middle

So saw my MW this morning & got my scan date!
5th November lets hope fireworks day goes with a bang for all the right reasons.

at my 12 week scan (when I thought I was 12+1 based on temp data) she took the CRL measurement twice - 12+5 and 11+1, and from that they moved me back 2 days to 11+6.

The way she measured it didn't seem particularly accurate to me, as it was from different points each time and the 12+5 measurement was particularly skewiff! :rotfl: Plus as a scientist I don't like taking an average of 2 points, 3 measurements is the minimum you need to identify if there's an outlier :cool:
