FindingmyownwaySorry I've not replied sooner. Yes my wife had a really really bad bleed at about 7 1/2 weeks, she told me that there were huge palm sized clots and she filled a couple of pads overnight. One positive was there were no cramps. Managed to get an emergency scan the next day and as you all know it was good news and the baby was growing as expected. She had been having small bleeds prior and has had bleeds since but crucially brown therefore old blood.
I really really hope that it will be good news for you. We were not given any info at all as to what caused the bleed but I did come across this via google:
Subchorionic Hematoma0 -
Hi everyone, hope all is well. Welcome to all the new BFP's I have missed over the last couple of weeks. Been away for a week which was nice but morning sickness meant I missed breakfast every day - I couldn't even stand the smell!
Not much to report from me. 10+4 ish by my dates. Scan a week on Friday which I am really nervous about. I have no reason to be as I have been lucky enough to have no bleeding or cramps but because I haven't had a scan yet I keep thinking I am imagining it and there will be nothing there. I have to confess to POAS a few times just to check I am pregnant and haven't just missed a couple of periods. Mad I know! xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Hi penguin, welcome back! Hope your break was good.
I am so much better now, still feel a bit queasy but (touch wood) i've not been sick or felt overly sick all weekend or today yippee!!! Still tired but to be fair we are growing people so we would have a bit of tiredness now and then
Sid I have my eye on a pram from kiddicare but it all depends on whether my uncle (who has a nearly 1 year old) gives/sells me any of his baby stuff! I've only just told him last week that we are expecting so I think ill wait til after scan (only 2 weeks ahhhhhhh) and ask him what I can have from him then buy the rest. I've decided on pretty much everything I want to buy and I'm only going to ask other epople for clothes and blankets and things as I want all my nursery stuff to match (saddo lol), plus although its a nice thought I don't want people spending that much on things for the baby, just a little thing would be lovely, mummy and daddy can buy the big tuff lol
Anyway I better go just now, I'm on my break in work (yawn)! Ill pop in later and say hello xxSaving money like a trouper...0 -
hi samii
you sound like me!!! my last lmp was 22nd july and this is my 3rd aswell. how old are your other 2 children?
i have to little boys, my eldest will be 4 in november and my other turned 1 in june
Im quite scared as this will be c-section number 3 (thinks to being left a mess after my first childs emergancy i had to have A LOT of tissue removed from my womb and a tummy tuck second time around.. i did have a 12 inch scar that was almost an inch wide and looked like rope but now i have a very tiny linebut a very tight tummy quite low down) i have a doctors appointment tomorrow to 'confirm' my pregnancy so ill ask the doc to have a look at my scar to make sure im ok to stretch to the 8lb ers i produce lol!!
As for buying Items i have a mamas and papas Ultima in the same grey polka dot as above but i feel i may need a double as my youngest isnt even walking yet so that may be the biggest expense but even then im hoping to find a nice one second had (fingers crossed someone is selling a JANE TWONE nearer the time as they look lovely) Im also determind to invest in reusable nappies this time and try and breast feed longer than 6weeks by going to breast feeding classes this time.. other than that thankfully we saved everything from last time.. even the £2.50 winnie the pooh cot from the carboot..
Where does everybody stand on cot matresses? im not sure wether to buy new again as i bought new for my second its only a year old :@Overdraft £1500 / £790

Hi ladies
Unfortunately a very short stay for me here. I started bleeding last night and a miscarriage was confirmed at EPU this morning.
Hope it won't be too long before I'm back here again. In the meantime wishing you all very healthy and happy pregnancies.
