Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Thanks for the reccommendations I will see what i can find in the shops today to try.
got my booking in appointment letter yesterday it's on the 31st of august and they will refer me for my scan after that i guess so i think it may be mid to end of september before that happens.
aside from tummy troubles and tiredness I am still feeling very unpregnant which is worlds apart from my last pregnancy where i was sick from morning till night for the whole 12 weeks. Suppose i should be grateful my body is giving me a break! Some have suggested i must be having a boy cos of the lack of sickness but i think thats an old wives tale?

I had quite a bit of sickness and heartburn binkyboo and we're having a boy. A lot of my friends who've had boys have all had bad heartburn etc, so I don't think it means anything either way.

I thought the lack of sickness suggested girls, rather than boys! I might have my old wives tales muddled up!

Maybe people are just saying that to me because i had a girl last time and i was really sick!

I wasn't vomity but I felt queasy constantly from 6-16 weeks. I've also had a bit of heartburn.

Apparently I'm having a girl. Who knows?!

Im having my 3rd boy and this time round the nausea has been a lot milder, with the other 2 it was much much worse, with my pregnancy last year I was equally as sick and that was a girl !

i dont think it has anything to do with sex of baby but the hormone levels in your system and how it deals with it, if you are more sensitive to your cycles/hormones/pmt etc I think you notice the ms more.

I had heartburn and a boy. Having said that I get heartburn all the time anyway. In fact, it's got worse since I had him. Madness. Thank !!!! for omeprazole - that's all I can say

Seconded about the omeprazole fluff - now they've got me on the right dose, I can eat and drink water like a normal human being again! lol

As mishka says, I think every woman handles pregnancy differently - I'm one of two girls and my Mum didn't get morning sickness with either of us.

Ooh, actually, neither did my mum. Which meant she was a bit lacking in the sympathy front when I was sitting there looking exceptionally green...
