In fact, on the subject of bloating an big boobs - the other day he looked at me and said "well, you're certainly bagging up well". Bagging up is what happens to cows when their milk comes in! I was not happy at that point.
:rotfl:I hope you gave him a whack! you can blame it on the hormones:p0 -
Well, back from my booking-in appointment. My head is reeling from all the different pieces of information she gave but I have started to read through it all and it is starting to make a bit more sense. She did ask if I had decided where I wanted to give birth - I said not home birth (too scared of things going wrong, maybe I would feel more confident if it wasn't my first) and the mw said that it was fine and I could even change my mind on the day if I wanted to. And... My scan date is 10th of July - so excited :j. Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0

I must admit I've been looking at changing bags, I think I'm in love with the pink lining ones

Yay walby - that's so soon, it's like the week after next!!!
Tattoo - LOVE the bags! I keep having to walk very fast past cute baby shops. Trying really hard not to get or look at anything till after 12 weeks but really really struggling!0 -
congratulations and welcome Tinsky xxx
Can't believe you've all got booking appointments, mine isn't until 24th July!!! Surely I'll need my scan not too long after?
Home birth:eek:, not for me!! I think I'd be petrified!! Plus, not too sure the dog would be impressed;)
I've not had any cravings but plain crisps seem to be my friend! Feeling sickly pretty much all of the time but crisps seem to help - not very healthy!! Plus I'm am thirsty all the time!
Candlewax - I saw in your post you mentioned ectopic pregnancy. I can imaging it must be terribly difficult for you, but do you think you could share your experience (or pm me?). Its just that I'm a little worried - been having cramps on one side. Just been to docs and I'm booked in at epau on Weds afternoon. Allsorts of things are going through my head!!
Has anyone been to watch the olympic torch in their area? Its in ours tomorrow so am hoping to catch a glimpse
xx0 -
Countrybum - plain crisps work for me too. Wish it was something healthy!
I happened to come across the torch whilst I was on holiday last week. As we drove through a town there was a big police presence and quite a few crowds so we thought we'd stop and see. Really glad we did, didn't think I'd be that bothered - but it was really quite emotional. Brought a tear to my eye!0 -
Hi ladies
Just wondering if I could pop on and say hi! I'm a newbie to these threads, so haven't been on the TTC one or anything. I got a BFP last week and think I'm 4-5 weeks. This will be my 2nd child as I've got a DD at 15 months!
Am quite nervous already despite having been through this before. I had a MC at 6-7 weeks before my pregnancy last time, so I'm always ultra nervous until the scan. I'm going to ring GP on Wed to organise midwife booking in appointment.
I've been having a read through of the posts from the last couple of weeks, hope to get to know you all soon! My info for the sticky is
micwil 4ish EDD 27/2/13 Scan date TBC xxx0 -
On caravan holiday at the moment, only intermittent net access.
Very worried i may be mcing. Was feeling constipated this morning and stupidly had a coffee and cig in the hope that would get things moving ( I only smoke once in a blue moon).
Then stomach really went into spasms, lots of period type pain all morning then some bleeding at midday. Its mostly of the brown and not bright red and definitely spotting rather than full on period so am allowing myself some hope.
But marooned in middle of nowhere with no car so cant go get a test tomorrow so will be in limbo for a bit. Stomach still a bit delicate but not cramping like earlier so fingers crossed it just stops now!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Oh man Jo Jo - thinking of you and crossing fingers really hard! Hopefully it was just your body reacting to stimulants.0
