Cheap pre exsisting medical conditions travel insurance - help!

I can recommend fishinsurance, mentioned above, for price of quote, but I don't know anything about their quality of dealing with claims.
OH is 80, is well and active at present, but has had several fairly serious medical conditions. Getting travel insurance usually means going through long medical questionnaire and then either being told they can't quote, will quote but exclude existing conditions, or quote at a price nearly as expensive as the holiday.
We're going on a 5 day UK holiday and needed insurance to cover the cancellation cost . Tried most companies mentioned above and got no quote or very high quote, but was quoted £44 by fishinsurance. Was so surprised I had to phone the helpline to check that all information had gone through on-line quote before I could accept it. Quote was correct.0
