Hi, Michelle sorry I have no info to help but send you best wishes anyway.

Garnet you have an absolutely gorgeous little one! Cant wait for mine!

Jcr apart from the odd BH I've not had much but totally sympathise with your nights - i'm getting tge same and permanently feel like a zombie! Well done on being soooo organised. I started well but i've slipped! We're looking at nursery decor this weekend and hopefully DH will start decorating soon. Our cot is coming next week courtesy of the MIL. My mum got our pushchair but that's in hiding for now.

Good luck Madbird, I hope this is it!

Madbird good luck and many, many labour vibes your way ;o)

    Garnet
Amy is gorgeous, bet you are so pleased and I hope you are getting used to everything!

Michelle as a newbie myself I don't know either but hope the consultant can advise you though.

jcr good to see you again, yes I know what you mean re: sleeping, very hard indeed and I am sort of weirdly thankful that we haven't had very warm weather as of yet for that reason... selfish I know! I am still not really 100% believing that in 7 weeks time we might have a baby, it all seems surreal to me.

As for the book people were mentioning, I have ordered it from ebay and will see what it says, can't hurt to start reading up soon. I have a week and a half left at work, and will prob feel it's all more real once I am off with time to focus properly rather than worrying about work and finishing training.

Appetite is on the up definately, couldn't stop eating yesterday, just need to ensure it is good food and not the bad stuff.

Garnetlady- congrats on Amy, she's lovely. :)

Hayleythedaisy- Thanks, will look into that. I'm due with the midwife again on the 22nd, so was planning to give her big eyes and tell her how much it throbs at times!

jcr- Nights are a little uncomfortable- got 3 hours sleep last night. Mind you, that was probably more than DH, apparantly I kept kicking him awake.... :) I've generally settled for dozing a bit when I go home, as at least I'm getting rest of some sort.

Michelle- I can't help, but I really hope it all goes well for you.

Morning guys, another night of rubbish sleep. Had to go through to sleep on the sofa at about 12 as I was too warm next to OH. Then I went back to bed about 2 and woke up with terrible leg cramp , OH had to bend my feet back for me lol. I mustve looked awful when he left this morning because when I went through to the kitchen he had laid out breakfast stuff for me and made my lunch , aaawww.
Sparkle-I hope you like the book. If your a go with the flow ,see how it pans out person then its really not going to suit you but if your a planner and routine sort of person then I think it'l give you some ideas.
Hoping to go to the salon at the weekend with my sister, they do a special mum to be massage and I thought it would be a good way to start my maternity leave ,Just hope they have an appointment ,lol
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

    Hi everyone,

I have been reading for a while and thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Emily and I'm expecting my first baby on the 8 Dec :j

Its my first pregnancy and so far it has not gone well! Im still being really sick and have lost 6 kg. I was given some anti-sickness tablets but just end up sicking them up! I have also been diagnosed as having a mildly overactive thyroid which they have decided not to treat as they think it was caused by the pregnancy and will sort its self out. I thought i would love being pregnant ans was so looking forward to it but its not been the case so far. :(

I feel much better for sharing all of that and now have to go for another doctors appointment...the joys!

Could someone please add me to the list as i dont want to tread on anyones toes!

Labour vibes to anyone who needs them :)

To be honest Ive probs had five nights of rubbish sleep in my whole pregnancy so really cant complain. I think its because I keep dreaming about bubs being huge and I wake up sweating, lol. Need to get my bottom in gear and hire tens machine, my friend said that most people in the labour ward were hooked up to them. Also want to get booked in for a wax before d.day obviously if I go over my due date it'l have started coming through again but at least itl look like ive made the effort , lol Amazing what things worry you at 3 in the morning.
Glad you had a good night Apricot- it makes the day go quicker when your feeling well rested and refreshed
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Does anyone know of any good offers on maternity clothes? would like a skirt or two and some short sleeved tops. Or even some shops that sell nice things at decent prices? Preferably on the High Street as I want to get out of the house!

Emily - I had that "I'm supposed to be happy, but I'm just bloody miserable and sick feeling". You'll get fed up of hearing it but it does get better. I found sucking lollypops helped, (I got through a tub of 600!!) If the tablets aren't working go back to your GP, maybe they could give you a medicine instead, might stand more chance of keeping it down? Hope you feel better soon xxx

Fathers Day - I've just ordered a father's day card from www.funkypigeon.com couldn't find any "from the bump" ones in the shops. Found a 50% off code for new customers so got all sorts, they have personalised baby note books! Got the code from here... http://www.voucherhub.com/view/funkypigeon.com if anyone wants it.
    Bump due 22nd September
