Don't worry, I'm too scared of you

I'm getting up 2 or 3 times a night to go the loo, add to that the need to wake up just to turn over in bed, leg cramps, heartburn if I lie on my right side...and the midwife felt the need to write in my notes 'looking very tired' :wall:
Cant believe they did that
I second with the waking up in the night to turn and the legs aching
its terrible! Not had heartburn much though, Ive heard people say you get a lot of heartburn with a baby with lots of hair, dont know how true that is though :rotfl: probably not at all lol :j0 -
Don't know if hair colour is possibly a factor too? I never had heart burn ever with my younger son and he had absolute masses of blond hair yet I did get it with my older boy who had far less hair at birth but his was darker in colour?

oo I hope this is true! I would love our little boy to have my OHs blond hair!
I also get achy legs, I can't rest them at all I have to keep moving them when in bed
oh and the heartburn!! As soon as I lay down it starts  Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

I have no idea about it Sequeena I think my heartburn or lack of it was in truth more a direct result of the foods that I was eating during pregnancy rather than anything to do with their hair but you never know!

It's good to know there is at least one midwife out there that notices - usually it's pee, stab, out
I had no heartburn with my first two pregnancies, didn't even know what it was. I had three almost bald babies lol.
The last time I had agonising heartburn the whole time an Squeak was born with a big mop of hair that is now very curly and past her ears (at 9 months:eek:) if you hold it straight :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Bump due 22nd September0 -
Hello,
Hope everyone is well. My first baby is due 22nd September, fortunate enough to be having a pretty straight forward pregnancy so far. Unfortunate enough to be at work at 3am with a baby with hiccups though!
It'll be nice to chat to other expecting mummies, haven't got any close friends who are currently expecting.

So strange i am no longer on this thread full time.
I miss Olivia being my bump. Dont miss how i always worried about lack of movement.
Snifs and due to Pre Eclamsia and her being early i never got to be a boldy
Hope you are all well.

Hi and welcome Hayley.

Alamaya. I know what you mean about never being a bold. I have a scheduled delivery date which I am terrified to have the list changed to for fear of anything going wrong which I know is very silly but right now my hormonal neurotic pregnant brain is really not allowing me to see the world in a simple rational way!

Hiya Hayley, welcome!

Nothing really changed with me, just still tired all the time..... Can't sleep much (was only 4-5 hours before pregnancy anyway), but when I do lie down, it's maybe a few hours here and there. Sore back still, making me very irritable. Just sent my nice boss a little text apologising for being grumpy yestarday- my back was throbbing! Barring that, nothing else much has changed.
IN a change from my usual tomboy clothing- jeans, leather jacket, new rock boots- I've started to find I'm wearing a lot of floaty summer dresses. My OH is thrilled- he says I suit dresses, but so rarely wear them.
Koala- you're allowed to be irrational. It's your perogative as a pregnant lady!0
