Congrats to the couple who posted on their babies a couple of pages ago (Both Abby's? Memory's shot completely...)
Prams- Bought a new Hauck Shopper with car seat for £20-£30 a while ago (too good to miss). All pleased with myself, as the girl who sold me it had used it once, then her parents had bought her one as a surprise.... Now just realised the pram won't fit in the boot of my coupe, so will have to play around to make things fit! (My own fault for installing an audio system, now have the perfect excuse to buy the smaller, newer, more powerful subwoofer I've drooled over.....)
Missy, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the name Seren from? My partner and I wrote a few short stories using that name for the main character, but I'd chosen it as I liked the fit for the story- was also a girl's name we were considering, lol! I'm sure she will be fine, hopefully she'll enjoy reception that much and will have a fantastic day- please try not to worry about her...
Whoever said about not eating as much food, but drinking endlessly- Apricot? That's been par for the course for me from Day one. My partner's constantly making me ice-cold drinks with lots of ice (or, a glass of ice if I can't choose....). Don't know why, but a big icy drink has more appeal than food, it settles the constant nausea I have a little..
Going for a weekend in our family's holiday home soon, it's a pity as it's owned by my uncle, who's quite ill with cancer. We used to holiday there all the time, and my dad wants us to go for what he thinks will likely be one last time.... My uncle isn't doing well at all, and they don't seem to think he has long left. It's not a complete holiday- we want to tidy the place up for him, paint it, whatever needs done.0 -

Seren is a welsh name meaning "Star", it's very common near me at the moment.

Beetroot, maybe. Seem to be eating an awful lot of it now. Wanted a curry chip the other day, and craving wouldn't go til I bought one- I'm not a big curry person normally, and it's maybe months since I had one.0

Snap on that one. Pre pregnancy we used to have chinese at least once a fortnight, sometimes more often but I think I've only eaten it twice as I just really don't fancy it at all!
I was thinking about this craving thing, Im going to think of something completely unreasonable to crave soon as I think OH has got off lightly!:rotfl::happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -

Hi Lirin, i chose the name Seren because when i was little i had a friend called Serendipity - her parents were hippies!! We called her Seren for short and i always loved the name so i always knew if i had a daughter she would be called Seren - we called our DD Seren Elizabeth and i still love it, it was only after she was born that we found out that it was popular in Wales!Due 26th July, team yellow0
