Hi
It's probably carpal tunnel, best to mention to your midwife. I did get referred to a physio for it. Mine's now caused by fluid retention. Just been to the drop in clnic to get my bp & everything double checked. My fingers are getting steadily worse, I now have no feeling at all in the tips of most of my fingers, when I grip anything it sends the rest of my fingers numb as well
The only solution is giving birth! Little miss needs to get a move on - 11 days to go.
Hi Perdi, wondered how you were getting on? I'm due a week today but very fed up. I have to go for twice weekly monitoring plus got consultant appointment on Wednesday when they might do a sweep. My BP shot up 2 weeks ago but seems stable now. The trace today showed occasional tightenings and query contractions according to my notes.
I like RLT tea!:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -

Hiya madbird. Me too, had a rubbish day today, did nothing just sat around in a daze. I was coping with the elephant feet but the spreading numbness in my fingers has just got me down.
Glad your bp is stable and they're keeping a close eye on you. Possible contractions - eek, hope things kick off for you soon! Then again you're not allowed to go into labour as that'll mean it's my turn next -scary :rotfl:0 -
I get baby feet in my ribs too!! Really hurts to breathe when I'm laying in bed!
Anyone elses boobs on fire at the mo? Feels like they're burning/being stabbed. Ouchie!Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

I'm fed up with the constant urge to pee.
I can sit down after coming back from the loo & feel the need to go again.
I can't wait to get control of my bladder back.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Same! I can't sleep for more than 3 hours at a time, the urge to pee wakes me up

koalamummy everything seems to be fine now
He has been moving around tonight so I think he is ok. Nice to feel him though as I was so worried!
anderson If you find out what it could be can you let us know here as it seems some of us have the same issue
BCS I know exactly how you feel! It is very annoying! I have been like that for a while now, just go to loo and then its like oh do I need to go again? But the first time there wasnt much there anyway so whats the point of going again yet lol.
Back is a little sore from the fall and my hand stings but apart from that I am ok and so is bubs and that is the main thing. Husband said he isnt taking me anywhere else, I can stay at home bored if Im going to go falling over when he takes me anywhere :rotfl: and my sister has grounded me until I give birth. Went to see her tonight and she was saying what are you doing here, youre grounded! :rotfl:
Borrowed a bag off her too so I can pack my hospital things, need to get that sorted this week hopefully.
Oh I have noticed milk leaks  There were some marks on the bed sheet and I thought maybe me or husband had been drooling in the night :rotfl:but it turns out its from me! I actually saw the leak yesterday so today have had on some breast pads just to be safe lol.
Hope everyone is well x:j0 -
Finally managed to retrieve my iPad from where my boys hid it! It is apparently theirs now and I cannot touch it without permission! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Had food from McDonalds and seriously didn't enjoy it.
. Don't usually have anything other than breakfasts from there but really fancied it tonight until I got it that is.

Don't worry, I'm too scared of you
I'm getting up 2 or 3 times a night to go the loo, add to that the need to wake up just to turn over in bed, leg cramps, heartburn if I lie on my right side...and the midwife felt the need to write in my notes 'looking very tired' :wall:0
