My OH is due the same day as you and she's currently just drinking one cup of Raspberry leaf tea a day. Are capsules meant to be more effective?

Capsules are for people who either cant stomach the tea or dont want to drink tea. But my capsules are lower dose than the tea I think.

    hi all
    hope were all well!

BB keeps sticking their feet under my ribs and its painful sometimes!!

also anyone else getting pains/tingling/numbness in the ends of their fingers? mines is really bad at night. BP and urine is all fine so im not worried.

My ribs are agony every day - asked the midwife she said it's baby's bum jammed up there rather than her feet :rotfl:

Im having a little bit of the tingling fingers too - only when Im laying down in bed but it feels like my hands and fingers swell (can't explain very well but in my head they feel like i've got a baseball glove on!)

Amfodyndad I don't think the capsules are more effective than the tea but the tea tastes horrid (apparently) so capsules are easier to get up to the recommended amount.

    Hi
It's probably carpal tunnel, best to mention to your midwife. I did get referred to a physio for it. Mine's now caused by fluid retention. Just been to the drop in clnic to get my bp & everything double checked. My fingers are getting steadily worse, I now have no feeling at all in the tips of most of my fingers, when I grip anything it sends the rest of my fingers numb as well :( The only solution is giving birth! Little miss needs to get a move on - 11 days to go.

Thanks Missy and Apricot- have always liked Seren as a name, nice to know it's origins....

Tingly fingers- I don't know, ask GP, I sometimes get it when I'm getting light-headed.

Thanks for the info lablover and apricot. OH seems content enough with the tea (which is surprising seeing as she can't stomach normal tea at the minute) so we'll stick to that for the time being.

Anderson I get that too. I find it more annoying than anything and its always at night/when I wake.

We went out today with our dogs and I ended up having a fall. There was a stream and husband went to take a pic and I followed. Ground was covered in like algae or something and we didnt realise. I just stepped forward and down I went. Landed right on the bottom of my back so am in pain with that and have cut all my hand and wrist. We left straight after to come home so I could phone the midwife, she said to give it an hour and see is baby had moved and he has been moving now eventually so I am glad about that. It was all just a fright since it happened so fast, didnt even have time to grab out at husband for support. Am ok now though, was in a right mess covered in mud and blood from my hand lol, very pretty.:o
