Hopefully everything will be ok this time BCS as I am actually being admitted for baby to be delivered which I am in a total panic about. :o. I am terrified that something will go wrong.....this is what happens when people like me are given time to think. :(

Koala, don't panic. I'm sure everything will be fine. I'd be the same as you though- give me time to think as well- always a bad idea.

K- good luck with the scan.

Koala hope you have a good weekend :)

Lirin - how are you doing now? Do you still have a large bump?

My results are clear, no diabetes - the faintness and things must be down to the blood pressure but will check with midwife when i see her in 2 weeks.

My worries are daft, i know they are, but still have them, worry that im not talking to bump - everyone says i should be, also i have lots and lots of moments where i forget that i am pregnant, picking up things i am told i shouldnt, bumping into things becuase i forget i have a bump now etc, also worrying about how this baby is going to get out, ideally i would like a vbc with no pain relief but not sure how realistic that is or if i can do it, worrying about leaving my friends and work and all the challenges that brings.

Bah, if all i have to moan about are my own silly worries it cant be too bad can it :)

Puzzled I have the same worries - I keep misjudging how much space I need when squeezing past things or people (banged into a slightly open dishwasher the other night, ouch) plus also feel bad that i don't remember to talk to bubs as I much as I feel I should be. I think it's that there is still so much on at work and i can't see light at the end of the tunnel in terms of workload decreasing to my last day... I also feel really guilty if i eat badly.

So Apricot can also relate as today has been a bad food day too for me, am sooo hungry... do you reckon it's because neither of us slept well? Seems a concidence. I am embarassed to say I had a couple of scoops of ice cream when I got home today, and I never do that straight after work!

Thanks for the comments re: the discharge, thing is the amount is increasing and i find I have to change as soon as I get home as there is a slight smell, then I feel more comfortable. It's not a terrible smell, just i guess I'm aware of it more.

But now am worried if i should call the midwife?

:rotfl: I keep bumping into things too... got myself wedged in a friend's bathroom door the other day!

Haven't posted much recently as I've been really busy at work etc
Only got 8 weeks to go and so I'm having to tie up lots of loose ends for the person taking over. Baby seems to find desk work very entertaining and does somersaults/kicks for hours in office and then is very quiet when we visit anyone.

I have my 28 week appointment on Monday and am excited about being measured (first time for a fundal measurement as last time I'd had a scan the day before so there wasn't much point) - hopefully the midwife will be able to explain a bit about how to recognise baby's position too as I can't ever feel any big lumps unless baby happens to be kicking right there and then - I am obviously a very comfortable and squidgy baby carrier and can't believe that baby can be that big inside me without obvious lumps.

I did my first proper bit of shopping last week too... I am now the proud owner of 2 reusable nappies bought in a very posh shop from their clearance bin. I still can't bring myself to buy anything else and so the sum total of baby things is a free nuby breast pump, 2 nappies and a whole lot of wool for mummy made booties etc hmmm... going to have start shopping soon

OH met up with a friend the other day (34 weeks gone) who was a little surprised at our lack of shopping/preparation for baby's arrival - we just haven't really got used to the idea yet that our lives are going to change completely and we're not really the types to buy in advance just in case we need something - we're more lets make do until we absolutely have to have it. At this rate baby's coming home in a pashmina sling on the bus.

Going home now to check on my roof leak and finish my baby's beanie x

    Lots of love to all

ps sorry my posts are so self obsessed and a bit diary-like (I feel a bit rubbish commenting on others given my complete lack of experience) Finding that posting is helping me track my feelings about things though - anyone else weepy at the gmail TV advert - 'emails from dad'?
