We bought our reusable nappies yesterday and spent £230! But they are sooo cute and am in the wash now, fingers crossed the weather stays dry.

Only four weeks to go till due date and while I'm hoping I'll be early I need more time! The nursery is full of cr*p, the hospital bag needs to be packed and DH has organised a BBQ round ours for two weeks time! I have visions of me going into labour while cooking the sausages :rotfl:

I'd love to use reuseables but all the different types are making my head spin!

Hey all,

Not read back - literally just popped on to remind everyone about the boots offer of 10 points in every ££££ It works with the parent club so we bought 2 child gates today, should have been £23 odd each - offer buy one get one half price - normal boots points + extra offer points + parent club points = over £5 in points as well!!!

Hi, I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally thought I'd take the plunge and introduce myself.

I'm 37 and 12 weeks pg. This is our first baby and our EDD is 11th Dec. Now we've reached 12 weeks and had our first scan we're starting to believe that it's real, and look forward to our baby arriving.

I wondered if anyone had any information about TENS machines for pain relief in labour. We have one at home from when DH had a bad back, but if you use them in labour do they have to be a special maternity TENS machine, or will any old TENS machine do?

Good evening everybody hope you are all well today.

BCS sorry diabetes is still being hard work for you . It really will get easier it just takes a bit of adjusting doses up and down to get the desired effect from the insulins....mine are having to change too almost on a daily basis to cope with the hormone overload that pregnancy brings with it as insulin is a hormone too . The staff at the clinic I attend will do telephone consultations too and advise on dose change if you call and ask yours hopefully should too.

Puzzled I saw the boots offer but unfortunately I have already bought nearly everything that I need too.

Sorry I can't help with the TENS machine as despite this being my third child I have never yet actually been in labour so have no experience of them.
