Hi all. Hope Becky is having mummy cuddles!
Congrats on Olivia Alwayspuzzled! And yes, piccy please!
Durham congrats on team blue. Glad the scan went well.
I think I'm coming down with a cold. Seem to be permanently shattered, headachey, sore throat and cold. Have succumbed and put the heating on!!! Hope everyone else is wellThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -
I have made a start on baby prep.. nohing too dramatic but I have moved Squeaks clothes to the pink chest of drawers so the baby can have the black one in my room.. When we know the flavour I'll flutter the eyesplashes at OH and get him to pick a new set up from Ikea.. I need some other bits so it won't be too hard.. and bribe him with meatballs and hotdogs.. actually.. we could go on a Friday on the way to his mother if we set off early enough so it wouldn't even be out of the way!
I have created space on the landing to shift the detritus from my rom so I can sort through it while Squeak is asleep, hopefully then I will be able to get some more stuff sold and create a bit of money and space!
I am almost looking foward to getting to the end of July and washing the teeny tiny stuff ready.. Though I am stuffing it in drawers now so the bag it is in I can use for the 6-9 and 9-12 month stuff that is already outgrown. I have also decided ALL the girly stuff is being sold if it is a boy.. to fund purchases of boy things.
I still am convinced it is a girl though.
Does anyone have any idea of names they might like?
We haven't even discussed it or thought about it yet and I just haven't a clue.. Squeak was a week old before she had a name.. and I don't like it very much either! I can see this one not having a name until it is 5 and picks its own!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
We've got a boys name sorted, girls are a little trickier!
How many weeks r u? You sound very organised!
I need to dismantle all my craft stuff *sobs*0 -
20 weeks today ..
..
I'm so not organised.. I am having the girl room plastered and decorated so need to make room elsewhere for stuff to be moved to. My house is like one of those little puzzles with all the squares and you slide them about to make the picture.. but it has about 4 million little squares.. but 50 of my little squares need to be made pretty and safe and hygienic and they all need to be together to be done so all the other need moving..
I have just spent 30 minutes cupboard sorting and I am fit to collapse.
It is going to take a while.. I have found some more bits to ebeast though .. like a pair of brand new nike air trainers!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon girls and bumps
Someone asked yesterday what make of SPD belt I had (I think it was puzzledbubbles?) Anyway, I have got it out of the car and it is made by Promedics and is the one shown as No. 1 on this catalogue page http://promedics.co.uk/catalogues/Orth/P41-42%20Maternity.pdf
We went to pick up the pram from storage at my Nans today .... it is now in pieces with all the fabric bits in the wash for a freshen up. It was a real struggle getting it in the car, so not sure how long we'll be able to wait before giving in and buying something else (like the Quinny I so desperately want) but we'll see how we go. It owes me nothing - it's done all 3 of the other kids, so even if we only get a few weeks/months out of it, it's no big deal. I tried to sell it after having DS2, so I'm looking at it that if I had successfully sold it then, I wouldn't be able to get any use out of it at all now and would have to have bought something else anyway. Feels a bit more real now
