    Labour vibes becky

    Lirin - what a twonk!

I never wore leggings until I was pg! Today I have a nice smart blouse and long black pencil skirt slightly ruined by socks and sandals. :rotfl:

I don't care though. My mum gave me her pair of Ecco sandals since I was suffering with my feet and they are absolute heaven. They've got proper supportive soles for my poor arches and are entirely adjustable velcro straps so I can expand them with my feet - love my mum.

Two days left at work wooo.

Yes, nasty boss is being a twonk. And a prat. There's more I could call him, in honesty, but I think the mods would boot me if I repeated some of the choice words I've called him in the past. :)
Nice boss (supervisor, but as I don't talk to nasty boss- no-one does if they can help it- I consider him my boss) is being brilliant. It's a complete pain sometimes- since I'm not allowed to do some things around here anymore with pregnancy, there's days when I haven't much to do. Hence frequenting MSE! I work at a desk alone, and I'm getting sick of going into the office on my breaks to sit with no-one talking. Even a brief 'hi' or any acknowledgment would do! I guess I woke up on the bad side today....

Lab and Mrsspendalot- on maternity leave soon! That'll be nice for you both.... :)

It could be worse Lirin- Im not allowed to do anything apart from sit on an uncomfy chair and "observe" my replacement (who is doing my head in) She had only been here a day and she had ordered all new uniform and signed up to the company pension and put her name down for rota -saturdays. !?!?!? After a day? Maybe its just me but I like to give a job about 3 months before I get comfy and start getting involved in things ? Maybe just me ..... and my hormones , lol

    Morning all!

Lirin - my OHs boss wants to know what exact date I plan on having the baby so he knows when OH will be going on leave. I told OH to tell him we could find out the exact time of the day as well if he wanted :D

I'm having a panic day today about whether we can really afford to have this baby. Pregnancy wasnt planned so no savings in place etc and still have some debt left over. OHs response to everything is 'we'll manage'. Dont get me wrong I am so excited about having this baby, but also terrified that he is going to be reliant on us to provide everything for him.
I'm guessing we will be enititled to some child tax credits, but no idea how much, may have to have a look on the online calculators.

Ive already revealed my exciting job, I work in the Motor Trade , for an x professional racer. I used to be his PA in his hayday but now I order cars and do all the admin for the business, plus look after his fleet of vintage cars and look after the legalities of his super expensive private number plates.... Love working for a millionaire -he has no concept of the real world and keeps asking me if I want help finding a "nanny" for my child ?lol

Flower08-try not to worry .Easier said than done, my OH is another member of the "it'l all work out " brigade and it does my head in, I need plans, actions ..... etc. Ive been putting a little away each month , nothing grand but will help with any big bills we get etc. Ive been stocking up on nappies and wipes etc. Dont be too proud , Ive been given some fantastic second hand things. Lovely bright play gym and one of those light projector things. Babies only need food, nappies and love so try not to worry about all the stuff mother care says you should have .HTH

Eek I know that feeling - bored out of my brain at the moment and my replacement is getting on my nerves a bit too. She's a bit overfriendly - or maybe Im just a miserabe old cow!:D

I work in accounts for a construction company & yes it is as boring as it sounds :rotfl:

Managed to pack my bag last night. I know it's a bit early but I would rather be organised than try to rush around at the last minute finding things - the big knickers made the cut - you never know when you might need them :)

I have been thinking about a new car too. My current car is only 4 years old and I've never had any sort of problem with it *touch wood* but I fancy something different - probably not the ideal time mind when Im about to go on Maternity Leave.
19 working days left & im counting down the seconds!
