Hi Becky gosh what a day you have had, fingers crossed for Friday or sooner for you then! Hopefully bubs will start to get active overnight then - so I take it you will be DTD, having curry for tea and watching a comedy tomorrow if nothing happens tonight... :rotfl::D

Right okay, I'll try and defend myself here! Twilight, you're right- I'm 5ft 9in. (Still hoping for a small baby though!) If I look leggy, it's because I married a man who possibly tops 5"3 if you count his hair. :) He's quite easy-going- has been known as Hobbit for the last 20 odd years. Gorgeous? Nah- ordinary. Did model when I was younger (and a size 16), but that wasn't to do with looks- I've a tattoo all down my arm of ivy that a few TV channels liked for pagan/mediaeval shows. :)
Besides, I don't feel gorgeous this morning. Woke up with nose bleeding slightly, my back already sore, and got nicely dizzy just by sitting up! Getting used to seeing a kaelidoscope of colours on my bedroom wall in the mornings.... Then downstairs so the babybump-sniffing Lab could declare everything's fine (big waggy tail) and the Rough Collie could jump up for an ear scratch.
I can't even have my morning coffee any more. It tastes stale. Even the brown sludge in our work's free vending tastes stale. Water just isn't the same.
And paracetamol? Useless. Won't even settle a headache.
    Sorry. Coffee-lacking moan over. :)

Me! But I bet she's really 5ft 8+, leggy and gorgeous.

Seriously hot offer on mamas and papas maternity underwear. 3 for £15 including £36 bras! I'm on the site now but think I need a bigger size now and at work so can hardly measure myself here :o

lirin sorry you are having a bad morning :( i know what you mean about coffee I cant even be near a Costa anymore as the smell alone now makes me ill as it smells and tastes wrong these days. I am exactly the same with lots of other food and drinks too just now which were pre pregnancy favourites. :o

Morning all - labour vibes for Becky. It's horrible going overdue isn't it. Got the consultant this afternoon which I feel is a bit of a waste of time. I know I'm going to have a large baby so just give me a date for the c-section and stop wasting my time with appointments, scans etc!!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

Hehe, thanks for filling in the gaps Lirin :) You know, I'm not a big fan of tattoos but every now and then I get the urge to have one (including today after reading about yours but I'm blaming pregnancy hormones and I think they're not recommended during pregnancy so I have a good reason not to go out and get one right now!). I think I'm beginning to understand them. Yes, this is my body and no one else's. But I didn't choose it. It was given to me. Having a tattoo is a way for me to make MY mark. That's my logic anyway.

Urgh. I decided I didn't want to wear my maternity work trousers today and would wear leggings and a tunic/dress instead. Last night I finally admitted my feet are starting to swell (must remember to put them up more) and OH confirmed so heels or tight fitting shoes are off the cards for day to day wear. So as I stepped out the front door, already 10 minutes late for work, I suddenly realised I'm dressed like Heather from Eastenders - leggings, tunic, ballet pumps. Oh woe is me. It's all downhill from here.

I really hope something happens for you today Becky. And hope all is ok for fluffy and anyone else bold.
