Good luck Becky ... certainly sounds like something is happening ... :)

I went to bed at 8.30pm last night .... was in so much pain from doing DDs birthday cake :o Had an ok night, but feeling the effects still today. Having my hair done this afternoon so that will make me 100 times worse, but my roots are desperate. Oh well, won't be long now :D

I'm spending the morning on the sofa watching baby programmes on discovery home and health to pass the time away whilst resting. Feel excited ... I'll have my own bundle soon :D

Good luck to all the boldies xx

Thanks for the tip koalamummy. I have some stretchy black ones and grey smart ones but decided to mix things up a bit today. The idea was that I'm out to dinner straight after work and didn't want to look like I was in office clothes. I'm sure it's not that bad but the tunic is a bit sack like and there's something about looking down and seeing leggings and ballet pumps. I don't have anything against them and think it looks perfectly fine on other people, just my irrational pregnancy brain. I'd prefer some pretty, sparkly flip flops but it was pouring with rain when I left.

Glad you're happy about the new car bella and koalamummy and sorry yours is causing hassle lablover, that's really not what you want at the moment. It's best not to talk about cars with me about. It's a bit of a sore point at the moment because OH is selling the car I LOVE to buy something safe, big and very unsexy. The only saving grace is that he should sell the current one for more than he'll pay for the replacement so any money left over is going straight on treats for me. Not very MSE but I don't care, it's one of the conditions. Notice how I say 'he' all the time because I'm having nothing to do with it!

Sounds promising becky and if not you only have to make it to tomorrow.

sorry you are having so many problems with it Lablover. Is it known faults or just things that are going wrong with your car? will the garage exchange it for something more reliable at all or are they being awkward about it?

MrsS hope you get a nice relaxing day :D

    Morning all,

Keeping my wosits crossed for you becky - hopefully baby is starting to think about making an entrance :)
My wardrobe has become very repetative - but i'm also having my hair done today, so maybe I'll go for a radical new look there. I doubt it - but maybe, just maybe!

My friend had her baby at the weekend so jealous...i want mine now! Don't think I want to wait another 9 weeks. I certainly don't want to wait anymore than 9 weeks! Let's hope baby takes after mummy and not daddy with his very laid back attitude to time keeping!

    Hugs xx

My nasty boss asked me to find navy maternity trousers. Fair enough. But has to have the exact pinstripe my suit has. Not fair. Did actually find navy/pinstripe maternity trousers, but they'll never match the suit at all. They have the huge stretchy waistband- a little big at this stage.
This morning's response? Asking if I could tuck my shirt in. To what? Not walking around with the stretchy bit on show! Numpty.
PLus, also had the classic- we need to know which exact day you plan on having the baby, not an EDD. How- seriously- just how is this man a father of three?

Cars- two of mine are coupes, and one's a V6. The coupe's have enough room for people in the back, and the V6 is a 4-dr. My partner wanted to switch to an estate, but they're boring and unsexy. Plus, with the three we have, I can repair and strip them myself. I'm not getting rid of a perfectly good car!!! Luckily, he saw the light. :) Lab- keep at the garage, they will stall like mad. Particularly in some cases, if you're female. Checking for info on FORD websites is good- there's always a list of known faults and fixes that a lot of garages aren't necessarily aware of.
Also on cars- my daily driver failed MOT yestarday for the stupidest reason yet. Headlights are 2mm too low..... Will go up on Sat, stick bump out, and argue blind with them. I'll have a low-cut top as backup.

You mean you didn't have your crystal ball to hand!! Doh! It worries me that these people are allowed to talk without permission, let alone do anything else!!

I work in the motor trade , so have been very upfront with them about what I know about cars etc.To be fair to them they have fixed every fault, given me a courtesy car and not charged, but its not the point. Im sssooo sick of the "we will plug it into diagnostic machine and see if it brings anything up" Give me an older car any day that you can actually see the engine (not all encased ) and you can fix it with your hands instead of plugging the brains of it into a computer and "downloading things" ...... RANT OVER
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Lirin-what a pain your boss is being , we wear awful navy suits here and luckily when I told him I was pregnant he said I was fine to wear my own clothes as long as they were "office" wear , so no leggings and tunics for me... All that management ever get is an EDD , thats all the midwife puts on your MATB1 form. They cant be more accurate ,Im guessing your boss is just being a prat for prats sake?
