I got a sprung mattress from Ikea , same size as the one you need for about £39 , but I was already there buying cot and drawers, so it wasnt like I needed to make a special trip.
Thanks Koala , I thought I was so organised , I had been doing bits and peices every other day , and putting stuff up my mums loft. Now the weeks are in single figures and I feel like Ive loads left to do... Think I will start a list tonight and start working through it. That way if I get caught out I can tell my mum or OH to consult list , lolThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

my 'baby list' now comprises of.... nothing... unless it is a boy in which case a couple of outfits will be purchased.. I'll get the cot after christmas as we probably won't need it until February time..
And I'd like to get a twin pushchair but we have 2 singles so I may just make do with those for the amount of time they are used... but I am saving my ebay money in case I decide I do want one..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

That was me supermaiden. Glad you found and like them. I'm having some nursery curtain woes of my own so am happy to have helped someone. Ordered mine 2 weeks ago but they haven't arrived. Ordered a pole too and some rings from somewhere else. Rigs weren't in stock so I said to just send the pole and bought some rings on ebay (not the cheapest but I couldnt be bothered to look around by that point). Pole turned up and it comes with rings anyway! I can't return the eBay ones which aren't needed so money down the drain. And now the curtains still aren't here although I've received an email to say they consider the order complete and closed. Grrrr. Theyre just plain cream curtains so really shouldn't be causing this much bother. Wish I'd made them myself now.
Will check out those sprung mattresses. Thank you. I live very near ikea so not a big deal to go there although am getting lazy and ordering so much online to be delivered to work. Poor postman must wonder what's going on.0 -
Labour vibes to Beckysleaf and hope tomorrow goes ok!
Welcome to the thread GlitterMonster, I know it can be scary but post away and I'm sure you will be just as addicted as we are...
GarnetLady the pic of Amy is lovely, very cute and I bet daddy was pleased she wanted Daddy cuddles...
Missy enjoy Cyprus and thanks so much for the M&S heads up earlier - I ordered some bits before work. Got the boy version of the reversible jacket you mentioned, a set of 5 Summer body suits and a little t-shirt and shorts set, all for £19.50 inc postage which I was happy with, and went via Quidco of course.
Koala I am glad your appointment went ok, and am also writing birth plan so know what you mean, how scary! I will post it here soon in case it helps inspire anyone else.
Apricot I have started my hospital bag too and snap re: Primani, I was there Sat buying some pink chequered jammies, bigger than my current size but I am planning ahead he he... I also got some maternity pads from Boots, exciting is my middle name...
Vroom so glad Ethan is ok and all is going well!
I wrote a really long message earlier and the blimmin internet connection at work went... so trying to remember what it all said!:):)
