Anyone seen any bargains on swinging cribs? I really can't afford to spend very much. I have found lots where the price is around £100 but then you have to buy the mattress on top of that price!! Rip off!
eBay? I bought a lovely mamas & papas cot in excellent condition for £35. I also like the way it means it's being reused and not just thrown in the tip while I buy a brand new one and use it for less than a couple of years.

I got a gorgeous swinging crib from ebay too.. Did 3 or 4 of mine.. before I passed it on.. I have the mothercare snug from Squeak. She is huge and fit in it until about 6 months when she went in the cotbed... this one feels bigger than her though.. which scares me lots! She is 9 months and wearing 12-18 month stuff. As I said before people who are 5ft 2 3/4 should NOT breed with guys who are 6ft 4.. the babies don't fit!!!!! lol She was 22inches at birth.. my next biggest was 18.5inches so a massive difference!

New car seat has arrived so we are playing..

*closes eyes VERY tight to avoid looking at M&S sale... * .... though........ lol

Ooh thanks for that Missy I ordered that coat and possibly a few other little bits and pieces from M&S!

Kandboys I second the Ebay suggestion. Mine is borrowed from a friend but I saw lots of bargainous ones on Ebay when I was looking.

Need to pop into town after work to go to Primarni to get myself some Pj's and things and am then going to pack my hospital bag eek! Scary stuff now!

Morning .... been lurking for a few days .... had lots to try and get done at home so have been avoiding the laptop as much as possible!

Congrats to all the new mummies and labour vibes to all the boldies!!!

I'm uncomfortable today ... having braxton hicks, but also feel like something has engaged or is starting to engage down there. Feel like it's falling out :o Given that baby was breech and I haven't felt him turn, I can't help but wonder whether his bum is engaging or whether he has sneekily turned whilst I've been asleep. Or maybe my pelvis is just giving way a bit more now with the SPD. Hospital on Friday anyway so we'll soon see.

It's my DDs birthday tomorrow ... can't believe I've been a mum for 11 years!!!

Hi ladies and bumps, just checking in to see how you all are. Ethan was 3 weeks old yesterday - that has completely flown. He's absolutely gorgeous and such an easy baby (apart from a bit of colic, bless him)
I've joined the FF brigade, I'm afraid. We did BF for a couple of days but he wasnt taking to it in the end and was screaming blue murder x

    hope everyone is ok! x

You have no willpower... and I hope you went through quidco!! :p

I bought a couple of bits for Squeak and the girls and some bras for DD3 and DD2.. if they don't fit I'll send them back. pjs's for DD1 I got DD5 a giraffe top a few weeks ago and she loves it so I got her the next 2 sizes as it was on sale.. and some trousers/shorts for DS3 who has 4 pairs of jeans and nothing else! Now I think about it I got nothing for DS2 and something for everyone else.. oops... (12 items in total for £73 so not too horrific!)

I haven't got anything we didn't need so not lacking too much willpower.

Just got my appointments through for Friday .... and as well as the growth scan I knew I was having, they've also booked me in for a doppler flow study - which I assume is related to the antibodies, but wasn't discussed with me or explained to me so am unsure what they will do. Pigpen, have you had to have one of these with your antibody issues?

Vroombroom so long as your little guy is happy and settled it really doesn't matter how he is fed. :D. Both of my boys were formula fed on medical advice and despite both being preterm they achieved every developmental milestone early and are both happy well adjusted and exceptionally bright children ( the 2 year old is currently learning to read except s and 7 as he seems to have a major objection to these for whatever reason! ). :D

Kandboys Kiddies Kingdom are doing a Saplings swinging crib for £60.00 if that is any use to you?

Hospital went well for me today though have yet higher levels of protien and leukocytes in urine again despite no infections and healthy kidney function. I am doing my delivery plan next week which is brilliant as it is the first time that I have ever made it far enough to do one! :D. All very real now though :)
