Supermaiden - Is he serious? Are you meant to pluck a name from thin air that you've never seen used before?

I now have a dilemma though! Husband is soooo picky with names and doesnt like anything. I have mentioned Miles/Myles before and he said no. Now I mention it again and show him the baby pic and he is all "you havent said that one to me before!" I said I did lol and does he like it but he said its no good now as its inspired by someone else! I said so is every other name in the world :D So Im going to work on him now! I cant believe he liked a name :j

My OH only likes one name and won't consider anything else.....Im planning on storing them up for when Im in labour and he is vulnerable and will agree to anything!:D

twi!light - he sure is silly :D lol. I have a list of names that I like but he has none and is finding it difficult to find any so now he has shown interest in one I will be pursuing it more!

Best time Apricot :D how can he say no?! lol

Supermaiden I have not seen any green curtains that would match your bedding...which is absolutely gorgeous! :D. Have you considered white curtains instead as a possibility? :o. We used lots of plain white voile panels in our little boys nursery as his bedding was mostly green and it was impossible to find curtains in the same shade. :o. They looked great and also could be washed dried and rehung within hours. :)

I hadnt thought of using white but Im willing to try anything! The only problem we have with his room is the brightness of the mornings but Im thinking of having a blind in there aswell to keep it out as I dont want him waking at silly o'clock thinking its getting up time lol

Oh pigpen, was browsing 3 wheel pushchairs suitable for running earlier. Saw a double one called BOB revolution duallie. Don't know if you've considered it or if it ticks all your wishlist boxes but might be worth a look.

Thank you.. I'll have a look in a bit.. :D

Pigpen, I don't know exactly what you are looking for but my friend has just ordered a double Cossato one. She is due to give birth to a boy in Sept and her little girl will be 14 months old. Her pushchair had 'bro' written on one side and 'sis' written on the other. Cute

they do that one with a sausage dog right across it.. and the crocodile one with 'snap'.. I want one a bit more substantial, thank you though.

Congratulations to Fantafan & Garnetlady! Although I'm not very pleased with you Garnetlady for queue jumping :p I hope you are both recovering well & enjoying every minute of being a mum :D

Lirin I'm so sorry to hear your news :(

Well I've been on a cleanathon today. Dad has cleaned the carpets whilst I have been on my hands & knees cleaning skirting boards & hoovering all them hard to reach places. I've cleaned under electrical items & have had a sort out. That is it now I give up on the eviction process if this doesn't work. :rotfl:My house is lovely & clean. Shame my dad, hubby & daughter have to come home really! Lol! It won't stay like this for long I'm sure.

    More cleaning Becky?!

Supermaiden - lovely bedding. do you have it already so you can take to a shop and match the colour? I'd be inclined to make my own as there are loads of lovely fabrics about. How about these http://www.therange.co.uk/invt/472071/ or I'd check out dunelm mill as they're meant to have a good selection (none very near me though)
