I'm off work again today as I had a rough night with sickness and didn't get any sleep :$ still feeling very sick today but I'm in a much brighter frame of mind and looking forward to my scan on Thursday

Baby Myles born Monday 16th May at 11.50pm, 8lb 13onz at 41 weeks. :j
Absolutely perfect in every way. Going to write birth story now whilst it's still fresh in my mind. Basically went in to labour naturally (although had a sweep planned for the Tuesday) discovered breech and delivered by emergency c-section. Breast feeding well and anxiety of "is he getting enough?" is disappearing with every poo nappy changed and the fact he's so contented. :A
Hubby is being an absolute diamond. I am so happy.
Sorry for big piccies but I know you won't mind.
Coming home on Friday 20th May0 -
Morning everybody
I don't see many familiar names on this thread anymore and tried to find the last version of the list to find out whose had their babies and failed miserably so labour vibes to those in need and congrats to any new deliveries and hello to any newbies.
I'm now at 34 +1 and still rather uncomfortable as to be expected.
We went to Ikea yesterday to get DD and DS new bedroom furniture as we are moving this weekend (I must be mad!) and it will be the first time they have had their own rooms so they are excited!
Lirin - so sorry to hear about your loss- you mentioning your stepdaughter sharing a room with your new arrival has reminded me.
DD is desparate to share with the new baby - she reckons she's going to help me feed her in the nightlol, bless!
We plan to buy a 4 bed house when the sales of our properties finally go through so eventually the kids should have a room each but have been trying to explain to DD that she can't be in with a newborn and the baby needs to be in myself and OH at first but she doesn't get it - I think after she realises babies don't have an on/off switch she may change her mind but at the moment she is so excited- it's really sweet - I think secretly DS is excited too but is far too cool to show that
This is my last week at work so looking forward to finishing and having a few weeks before she arrives0 -
((Hugs)) Lirin. Sorry my news will seem a bit insensitive straight after your devastating news but having your healthy bean still on-board is still news to be celebrated. x0

Huge congrats Fanta! :j
He is absolutely gorgeous :A0 -
Galvaniser- My stepdaughter thinks she's going to help with night feeds as well, the one night she's here. It hasn't really hit in with her yet- she's 10- that it's going to be a loud screamy thing, and not the cute (She thinks so, I think they're evil) Baby Born thing she's imagining in her mind..... She's very excited, but the reality of it will hit in and I'll see how she copes.
Fantafan- Gorgeous, congratulations on Myles. You're right- he does look perfect! Fanta, it's not insensitive at all. We had a chance at two, but we're still lucky!0 -
Congrats Fanta!! You sound so happy - am so pleased for you!!
Unfortunately I can't see your photos as they are blocked by the internet police at work, but am sure Myles is gorgeous (what a fab name!!)
