    Welcome to team blue flower08.

Puzzled - I have no idea how much is sensible but will watch with interest as I'm in the same boat although planning 1 year off at the moment. In fact, I said almost exactly the same to husband the other day - that the money I'm saving now is for pretties and going out and about when I'm off. :)
  • I must be mad, was 39 weeks today and sister has talked me into going to the Baby Show tomorrow. I do actually want to go but am scared how much I'll hurt. Oh well they do recommend a good walk for eviction purposes and as we only live 20 mins away and our mom won the tix it will only cost us the parking if I decide I can't cope LOL

Flower congrats on team blue - lots of us having boys!

Becky glad it was all ok and baby is in the right spot after all...

Puzzled we are planning 9 months off or maybe a year, I have been saving my own cash for the past 2 years or so, so feel confident that if I needed more time off, it would be manageable. Also wanted to have cash so i didn't have to take any from OH's wages as his will only cover main bills really.

HELP... I have woken up feeling extremely nauseous :(, like nothing I have felt so far really, am going into work a little later but does anyone have any recommendations how I can get through the day?

Ooh are you going today, Friday or tomorrow, Saturday? I'm going tomorrow. If you are going today, could you PM me any info like where to go for freebies, bargains etc! I'd be ever so grateful. I last went 2 years ago and can't wait to go tomorrow :T
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

Sparkle have you tried Ginger nuts at all?

I have tried sea sickness bands eating small plain biscuits cool but not iced water and even flat cola (don't ask!) as well as every safe anti emetic but nothing has worked so far :(. Can you call your mw or gp to see if they can help at all?

Thanks Koala, I think Sweetpea is shifting alot which is making me nauseous. I wonder if he could be turning round? No idea what way up he is or where in terms of position really.
I have none of those items at home really, will have to get some at lunch, feel horrible but have to go in as there's stuff to do that only I can sort. Maybe the flat cola will work as there's a newsagent nearby work.

Alwayspuzzled hope you have a really good day and get some last minute bargains. :D

Clarieloo welcome to third trimester. :D

Kandboys hope you have a brilliant time at the baby show tomorrow. :D

D I am really sorry but we don't have any of the NCT sales anywhere near me that I can find anyway but from what I have read here it can just be down to luck on the day so hope you are lucky and manage to get lots of great bargains. :D

Hope everybody is doing well or at least ok today and am sending lots of labour vibes to anybody who needs them. :D
