Morning ladies
Still here unfortunately but only a couple more days so will just try and enjoy it. Have a feeling there maybe one or 2 more announcment shortly thoughhello all, been reading this thread for a while now but thought I would drop in and say hello, i thought sleepless nights were for after the babba was born but clearly not for me! First baby due 13/05/11 so thankfully not long now.
LOL no way it would be nice to have a rest before these babies come but unfortunately doesn't work like that, some say it's natures way of being prepared for baby coming, I say Mother nature is either b!tch or male
EA such a shame about yesterday, fingers crossed you get your sweep today.......but your not allowed bubs until after Wednesday
Bella gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! You sound so happy and enjoying being a MummyI agree with you about the muslins they are fab for everything and I used mine with DD all the time she was feeding herself and still getting in a mess as they are obviously bigger than bibs!

Ladies I hope you all have a lovely day and that there has been news of a few new arrivals by the time I get back.
. I have to go and collect our pram from the shop as it is now in stock and I am plarnning on checking that it is all there and fully operational as last time my husband Had to do this himself and managed to put the hood on the wrong way round and then rip it off which damaged the carry cot and almost left us pram free for our little guys return from hospital.....it was a silver cross sleepover classic which other posters have told me should last for years in near perfect condition yet ours was destroyed in 2 hours! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi guys could I join the list please have been lurking and had a good read, labour vibes to all those who want them.
Third baby due 29/09/11, this is the day after my daughters 4th birthday so is going to be a busy time for us but very much doubt babs will come on time!!
To all of those who commented on their husbands this is my husbands 2nd child and he was exactly the same, turns out he'd been asking people at work but wasn't really discussing things with me, not sure why but once our daughter was born they were inseperable, think he just found it hard to bond during the pregnancy. It looks like it might be the same this time round too!!!!0 -
Hi everyone,
Urgent question please - I have been quite sore at the front 'down there' the last few days - feels like an ingrowing hair maybe, annoying as the only way I could more or less see is with a mirror. OH has had a look and says there's a redness which explains the bump I can feel.
Any suggestions? Have tried wearing looser clothes to avoid rubbing, and also moisturising to ensure if there is rubbing it's minimised.
It's affecting everything I am doing as even sitting down, moving is sore...:):)

Sudacrem might help- would soothe soreness.
Worthwhile getting checked at docs too- could be thrush, apparently some people can even get varicose veins there during pregnancy.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Sparkle was just googling and they say to try and exfoliate the area and use tweezers to try and get the hair out (which isn't going to be easy) or use a mild antispetic or tea tree oil. If it gets very infected a trip to the gp!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Have you tried pants like shorts rather than briefs?
It is possibly a vein as there is increased pressure and blood supply.. or an infected hair follicle.. might be worth getting it looked at if it is still there in a few days.
And DON'T POKE IT.. that will make it more sore.
