Hi ladies quick question for you - I just wondered is it true that because we are carrying the baby for 9 months, that when he/she is born we are able to carry them in our arms for much longer than OH or anyone else? I heard that it built up your core strength and hope this is true, as I am only petite and worried about not being able to carry him for long.

No.. though it is easier when they are a bit bigger and you can pop them on your hip.. men can't carry them like that.. OH can carry Squeak for miles and miles.. I manage about 10 yards and she is killing me1

Hi Teenie that made me laugh - wow I am appreciating not having them for now, 3 more months of money saving he he... labour viibes your way by the way!

Thanks PigPen, ah that's a shame, I thought it might help having carried him for 9 months, guess not...

Bad Sparkle had a McDonalds chicken burger and chips for lunch... OH didn't resist either though... trying to drink lots of fluids and have some fruit this afternoon to make up for it, though M&M's are getting in the way :rotfl:

Well we are close to having decided on his name I think, we're saying it out loud this week instead of Sweetpea, seeing how it fits.

Ooh I am first on the list after the boldies!:D

Been having a lot of crampy period pains and lower back ache. Had a bath earlier and it seems to have settled them down. Did a bit too much yesterday as felt compelled to plant up one of my fish tanks :rotfl: Everyone on the fish forums I go on think I am mad, as did the woman in LTSB when I went in to change my address :rotfl:So felt really rough last night. I think it was me nesting in a way.

Had several knife-like pains in my foof as well today, which are ouchy. As well as the 'fist through the foof' pains I've been having on and off for a few weeks.
*TMI* Not had a show yet but plenty of discharge, and 'special poos' this morning. All good signs, and I hope this baby comes soon. I am fed up being in pain and discomfort and want my body back and a fully functioning pelvis, please. Oh and minus the huge feet! LOL. Got MW Thursday if he hasn't arrived by then, and will probably ask for a sweep. I don't like the idea at all, but really can't believe it to be anymore uncomfortable than what I've already had.

Massive congratulations to Charlie, what a gorgeous little boy hun, and to M&M :D

Labour vibes to Nic, Teenie and VB

Not going to OH's parents for dinner tonight as feel antisocial, so we're having home cooked chicken curry and will watch Corrie in peace - gotta make the most of it!

I cannot WAIT for a glass of Rose and really, really fancy a Stella Artois :D:D:D
