Hope you are all having a better day than me as have just spent almost 2 hours stuck half way down the staircase! My right leg went numb and collapsed underneath me and then was totally non weight bearing when I tried to stand up again.. I am home alone today as my husband was called in to work due to a situation there and my children are visiting grandparents today so had nobody to help me back down. I am starting to sort of see the funny side now but it make a while for me to properly laugh about it!
You need to go to the docs about that, unless you had previously sat on your leg.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks unfortunately doctors already know about it and are monitoring but unfortunately it seems to be getting worse as pregnancy progresses.
. Physio told me that it is an unfortunate combination of a serious back injury that I received a few years ago which was caused by my work having spd this time round and doing too much

Ah OK. At least the cause is known, although it must feel a bit rubbish, especially when you can't take real painkillers.
Towards the end of my pregnancy with Squeak I had numbness and falling, up in the air as to whether or not it later turns out to be MS, depending on the emergence of new symptoms, so I'm paranoid and always telling people to go to the doctors now, especially since I had numb legs and fell down often :rotfl:
It's hard not to do too much. I haven't been lurking much lately, is this your first baby?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

He was a bit shocked

He told Squeak he didn't want her much earlier..I know I'm hormonal and stuff but still...

It will be fine.
Breathe in the G&A like you're trying to get it all the way down to your toes.

Congrats M&M and Charlie! Charlie little Jackson is just too cute, makes me wonder what our little pirate will look like..
Abby I am due 26th July too - you and Apricot will be my bump buddies I think! Haven't seen Apricot in a while - hope she's ok.
Eviction vibes for Vroom, Teenie and regular ones for Fanta and anyone else who needs them...
Koala so sorry to hear about your leg, wow that scares me, as in my maternity leave i will be mostly home alone and we have some steep stairs which I am always so weary of.
My peanut M&M addiction has not left me yet - another bag purchased in the main shop today, which was £1.29 at Tesco for a big bag so a bargain... but... last one!
Been doing some gardening and now am shattered. Also in the main shop we got some storage boxes for Sweetpea's clothes that are not needed yet. Hopefully tomorrow will spend some time putting some of them away so we can start seeing a semblance of order in the 'yet-to-become-a-proper-nursery' room.:):)

Fortunately I have been blessed with an abnormally high pain threshold
. The pain I can deal with although that doesn't mean I am happy about it but the limitations that are otherwise being imposed on my lifestyle are driving me to distraction!
. I have 2 other children and am really missing being able to go right out into the countryside at a moments notice and going trekking around exploring. However it is not long until this baby is due so hopefully it will resolve itself soon after and then we can take their much longed for baby sister along too.

Hi ladies quick question for you - I just wondered is it true that because we are carrying the baby for 9 months, that when he/she is born we are able to carry them in our arms for much longer than OH or anyone else? I heard that it built up your core strength and hope this is true, as I am only petite and worried about not being able to carry him for long.

Sparkle you should be fine my problem is mainly the result of the previous back injury that I sustained with spd and an unusually large baby added in to the mix for good measure!0
