Congrats to all new babies, and labour vibes to all boldies (VB, Cutterby, Teenie &Nic).

Loving being a mummy, just can't stop looking at her and wondering how we made something so beautiful had a really good go at b-feeding but unfortunately it hasn't worked for us, having said that, Eloise is doing well on f-feed (and starting to sleep for a good 3/4 hours at a time). Recovery wise, SPD symptoms are nearly gone (woohoo!), went for a 3 mile walk yesterday and no aches or pains today (its been a while since that last happened!), just a few stretch marks (where my belly button piercing used to be-boo!) and despite putting on nearly 2.5 stone, I'm only 4lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight, not sure how that happened!

And amazing on the weight loss- over 2 stone- that's got to be some kind of record. My mum says she gained 4 stone in her first pregnancy and after giving birth to a 6.5 lb baby she'd only lost 7lb :rotfl::rotfl:.

OK had some good news today. After two days of typing over 2500 words and only being half way to completing the dreaded form for work, one of my colleagues rang to let me know she's accepted a job elsewhere. That means I don't have to finish the form and my job is safe- cannot tell you all how relieved i feel. Its been 3 weeks of anxiety. Now I can just look forward to meeting and cuddling our new baby.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Now did I not tell you not to stress about the stupid form... I am so pleased you have one less anxiety though..

Isla Elizabeth Ann was born last night (1st May) at 10:30pm weighing 8lbs 5oz. She has a full head of thick black hair. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Morning ladies

Congrats to all the new mummies and welcome to all the new babies - there has been loads!! Must have been something in the air 9 months ago!!! Without wanting to miss any announcements, I think that's Nic, M&M, Bella & Charlie - hope I've not missed any - sorry if I have!

Huge labour vibes to Teenie and smaller, normal ones to DP (as it's only just your due date today!)

Been a busy weekend of DIY for us, we've hung a new door on the nursery and our mobile and cot bumper arrived. Also got the Tommee Tippee steriliser, set of sleepsuits and 108 nappies from Asda at the weekend, and have ordered 2 cellular blankets and 2 fitted cot sheets from Boots in their 3 for 2 offer. Feel like I'm getting there slowly!

It's my scan tomorrow - cannot wait! Good luck today for yours Puzzled!
