Thus far mine have been quite evenly spaced throughout the year, this will be the first one near Christmas.

I hope this one doesn't arrive bang on time. Although it would be nice in some ways (it's one of my oldest friend's birthdays) she says it's rubbish having a birthday in between Christmas and new year.

I bargain shop throughout the year as well, I buy garden toys in October when they're cheap:rotfl:

Still here...Still pregnant...Lol! I'm 38 weeks tomorrow. Come on baby mummy wants to meet you now. I've had enough.

I actually managed a decent nights sleep last night which is good as I've really struggled over the last few nights. I keep waking up & I can't get comfortable due to general aches & pains :(

I've done loads of walking over the last few days...Just about did me in y'day! I really should know better :o

Oh well I suppose I'll just continue to wait ;) I just hope this one arrives around it's due date like Ruby did. I can't bear the thought of being pregnant for another month...No thankyou! :rotfl:

Congrats to all the new mums! :T And come on boldies! x
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the advice - as this is on the front er, patch of the lawn, I suspect ingrowing hair folicle sort of thing, went to Sainsburys but he said i'd need a prescription and to call a local out of hours number which I did. They recommended seeing doc just in case - I am seeing midwife this Thurs anyway, so wonder if she would know?
The telephone doc had no real advice apart from keep the area clean (obvious) so I think I will try a bath later and afterwards a tea tree compress perhaps.

Most of all I wish I had more than 1 item of maternity clothing, must try to get to Primark if nothing else for some looser jogging pants or something. The thought though of buying a size 12 has been dreaded... not as much as this current pain though, so I will have to do it!

will take your advice and borrow OH shorts maybe (he's skinny so they'd fit just about). I tend to find though that the womens ones I have tried before hurt around the join of the material at the bottom, compared to knickers sort of thing...

i am having a fling.. I just sorted a massive box of baby girl stuff.. not sure whether to netmums it or ebeast it... it'll be about £15 postage but all will be added to the pushchair fund! There are 99 items of clothing and a huge bag of knickers, socks and hats.. mountains of stuff!!! Seems a shame I don't have the patience or time to ebeast it individually loads of monsoon and next stuff in there.. oh well... fling fling..

I've a couple of maternity bits goin on ebeast too I think.. ooh.. sure i have a sling can go on too.. and a breast pump...

I need £800 for my roof fixing and £400 for the pushchair and £300 for the car seat... hmmm.... I have a kidney I can sell...

I have decided I want the baby to be about a year overdue.. I am simply not able to provide for it this year!

Is it not worth hanging on to the baby girl stuff until you know what this one is?? That way you could get one more load of use out of it before you sell?

I'm debating when to ebay my maternity clothes. I bought a few bits from Next to wear for work, and then got signed off, so it never really got more than a couple of weeks use. Then I have some bits like my jeans which I will wear right up to birth. I can't decide whether to sell it all as a bundle, or do it as individual bits. Also, some of the sizes are different. Trousers are 12, but I bought size 16 in some of the tops so they were not clingy and to allow for any in-wash shrinkage.

I'm going to be really good with the baby stuff this time and ebay it when I've finished with it. I'm not having any more and I gave everything away last time. After having to spend so much to kit this one out, I could really do with recovering some of the cost! Plus it will stop me getting broody and thinking about #5 :rotfl::p

Nope.. there was so much we were given this is the stuff Squeak never wore.. I kept most of the stuff she did wear.. plus she was born the height of summer and this one is autumn so needs completely different stuff

I'd sell work stuff separate I think

I had something similar once, but not whilst pregnant so I could, erm, see what was going on down there a little easier :rotfl:

It was an in-grown hair. It was on the inside of my thigh, on the knicker line. I remember feeling a lump and thinking 'oh my god I've got a lump'. I grabbed a mirror and had a look :o. I managed to solve the problem myself with some gentle squeezing, a pair of tweezers and some savlon. It was really sore for a couple of days, but soon healed.

Ah, well in that case you may as well cash in now whilst people are looking for summer bits.

Yes, I think selling work stuff separately is the way to go. Hope I can sell it - turned out to be such a waste of money :o
