    Thanks ladies

Well I'm back and everything looking good (on paper) had another scan just to check measurements so baby is about 8lb 8 at the mo so heading to be a similarish size to DD which is what I have been expectin. Was hoping for a sneaky sweep but I am actually ok that he never even mentioned it (so maybe I'm not quite ready yet??).

Have a sweep next Wednesday with midwife and have an induction date of the 5th May he gave me a choice of anyday that week and I said as late as possible so he said he wouldn't be happy going any later than then so fair enough :) DH wasn't over the moon when I told him, he is desperate for bubs to make an appearance but it is only 2 weeks and 2 days at the most until things get moving and hopefully there wont be the same sort of hassle as there was with DD. Really want things to happen naturally but I just can't see it somehow, will just have to keep bouncing on that ball while tweaking my nips :D

Congrats Lotty and good luck to Wendz & Bella!

Apricot hope your OH gets on with it and rids himself of the virus and germs before you rid him of them forcefully :D

Digital I am registered for the free evening ones next month, glad I didn't pay for them as well, much more MSE.

Vroom I am sure it won't be long, bubs will want to appear before the Royal Wedding surely...

Teenie glad appointment went well and you have a date now, here's to hoping you won't get that far because bubs chooses earlier...

Empathising with bad nights sleep just in terms of hot/cold, then our cat started meowing as usual around 6:30 to be let out, managed to persuade him to come join us for a bit and we got lots of purrs.

Maybe TMI, but, er, is anyone else getting sleep with *benefits* these days? I have always been lucky to have once or twice a month when I sleep and wake up happy :D and now I am PG is seems to be around 3 times - last night being one :p;)

teenie.. please tell me you know you have to be tweaking 45 minutes out of every hour for it to even think about having some effect? Though I have wondered if fitting them to the tens machine might work *shrug*

This baby is a slob.. it has a tiny wiggle about dinner time and another late evening and that's it.. Squeak was hoping about like a demented kangaroo by now! I also missed a lot of her movements due to an anterior placenta.. I think this one may well be as unmoving as its dad! and good grief can it eat.. it is a piglet

    Hi All,

Am in an awful mood today and generally tired, sore, grumpy and hungry and sick all at once grrrr.

Anyway :) Hope all those ladies in labour get an easy time of it and that babies arrive safe and well :)

Apricot hope the OH offers to sleep on the sofa tonight so you can get some rest! Or you could offer him the car instead? hehehe

Vroom - im jealous of you being so far along but not jealous of the over due situation - hope the induction works for you tomorrow :)

Benson - hope the big party goes well - maybe bubs is waiting to arrive on the day :)

Sparkle - sleep with benefits? Confused!!!

PigPen - have all of your pregnancies been different or have you found some have been the same as others - sorry being nosey :)

Digital - i have been agonising over whether to go for the NCT and am not sure how good/bad the Northampton NHS courses are - does anyone know???

Hope everyone enjoys the sunshine :)

Puzzled - you know, sleep with the kind of dream that brings in a result during your sleep :D sometimes with no need for a dream at all... ;)

  • hello ladies!

thought i'd check in after being absent awhile, i read every day though.

good luck to those in labour :j and huge vibes to the boldies!

i'm 19+3 today, got my scan next tuesday and i can't wait :D my mum is going to be ordering our pram for us and i'm stupidly excited about buying sheets and blankets for the crib we're going to get :j

baby is moving about like nobodies business at times. i've been able to feel it kick for a while now and the other day while in the bath it made my stomach move for the first time. i've also been able to feel it squirming about for a couple of weeks now, it's quite uncomfortable at times, but i don't care :D

i found out at my midwife appointment the other week that i'm rhesus negative, so will have to have the anti-d injection - which i'm actually dreading more than giving birth!
