after quite a short labour,after being induced on my due date , i would like to announce charlie came into the world on 16th april @11.36pm , and is such a beautifull boy and is sooo good , sleeps 5 hours at night letting his mummy sleep..pic to follow.

Well I've just had a bloody show, diawoo and im pretty sure I've had a few contractions (approx 10 mins apart, please please let this be the start of it something tells me i won't be getting alot of sleep tonight!

And im pretty sure that my waters have just gone

contractions now every 5-6min on average, hoping baby waits until after 8am otherwise hospital it is, there aren't any midwifes at the midwife led unit til then

Good Luck Bella, Hope everything goes well for you, and you get the birth you want, My Son phoned 5.30am to tell us Daughter in Law is in Hospital her waters went 11.30 last night, so excited, that is how I am awake now waiting for news.

How are you now Bella, it all sounds like it's happening. So many ladies go into labour the night before inducing, must be the thought of it. Good luck

Any news from Wendz? Hope it's all going ok.


I had a rubbish sleep with achy hips. I tossed and turned all night,and couldn't get comfortable. I'll hopefully get a nap later when DS goes to nursery.

It's so exciting, every person that has their baby pushes me up the list. Used to feel like I would never move from the very bottom but I seem to be shooting up the list now!

Sorry you had a bad night nic - I had a bad sleep too but because of bl00dy OH tossing & turning & opening the window, then closing it - I was quite tempted to smother him with a pillow this morning when my alarm went off for me to get up for work!
