Yeah the pains are like really bad period pains that come in waves and feels like its tightening. OH only started at 3 and doesn't finish till 11.

I've just been to the antenatal unit for my anti-D injection and they told me I have somehow developed rhD antibodies

They're sending off my blood to a larger hospital for specialist tests but I won't know for 2 weeks what the outcome is. In the meantime I'm really worried now as to what this will mean. I've never had a problem with my rhesus status before

They said that the consultant wanted me to have antiD injection anyway, so I've had it. Feel rather flat now wondering how the blood might have got mixed, as I've had no bleeding or anything

Just spoke to them and they said to have a bath and take paracetamol and when they are coming every 3-4 mins and lasting amin to call back.

Thanks Teenie, I've been trying to think that too about being so overdue that hopefully at least my body will be ready(ish) for it, did the white trousers do anything for you?:D

VB-I hope you don't go as overdue and wish I'd done the mental prep that you've done, I was counting down to the 7th april, I wasn't expecting to be waiting around after that.

Wendz it sounds promising? How are they now? Might be worth just warning OH off and giving the hospital a quick call, you might just have a
very high pain threshold!

I was a blubbing mess earlier, mum rang and said that she was going to be going to her MIL's until Sunday, I replied and said 'oh, so you wont be the first to meet her then', she said 'no, sorry'-well that was me gone! I just couldn't talk and had to hang up phone (will blame hormones again but I thought she'd be really anxious to meet bubs ) she texted a few minutes later to say that she'd wait until she was here, so feeling better now.

Sorry little self indulgent rant there, hope everyones ok

Bless my boss - he has just spent the last 2 hours trying to fill out our online form from HR to work out how much holiday I need to take before mat leave and how much pay I'm entitled to and for how long. We are both agreed on what's right but the blimmin' form (an Excel spreadsheet basically) doesn't add it up right. So in the end he called HR who said they knew they were having "teething problems" with it and just leave it until the middle of June :eek:

Hope it gets sorted then because I'm offski in July and I better get paid!!!!
