Sparkle if you do like the idea of having a a nice normal bag as opposed to a nappy bag just check that you have no problems keeping it on your shoulder when you have both hands on the pram handle.
. I did this with my oldest boy only seemed to spend most of the time picking it off of my wrist and putting it back on myo shoulder while walking along.....not quite the stylish look I was aiming for! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They have some lovely square shaped 'normal' bags in Sports Direct if anyone is interested. Much cheaper too! Worth a look anyhowBeautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110

I never did get another changing bag, just the Boots one. I love the one that matches the pram, but no way am I paying £95!
Well, bump is due in 50 days (not that I'm counting or anything lol) and I feel huge today, some days I don't, but I do just now.
I've been meaning to say congrats to the new mummies and daddies, but my memory is awful, so I'll do it now! Congrats everyone and all the pics have been fab.
I still can't quite get my head around the fact Im going to have a baby at the end of all this, I feel like I've been pregnant forever and will stay that way! Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -
:)Evening ladies
Thanks for the well wishes for the sweep, mw found my cervix this time and gave it a 'little brush' lol, not dilated or anything like that though (9 days over now...really!?) so this afternoon I've tried the following;
-A walk up a bit of a hill (as far as I could go without the SPD hurting too much, though it seems to have improved slightly since I've been on mat leave thank god)
-Rubbing thumbs &having DH rub big toes (thanks Sarahjanetim & Nic)
-Eaten fresh pineapple
-Car ride over speedbumps (mw was very enthusiastic about this one!)
Think I might be able to get DH to dtd later (with maybe a bit of nip work for good measure?), had to get the mw to explain how he wont touch baby though lol.
MW also suggested that if nothings happened by Tuesday (when I was supposed to be induced) to call up the ward and see if they have space to fit me in lol so may do that if really fed up. Would just be gutted if it got to Wed, called them and they told me that they still couldn't fit me in
Wendz how you getting on? And Titch has gone very quiet, hopefully busy having cuddles
Pigpen sorry I can't give any advice but make sure you do rant on here if needed xx
Don't know if the bag was any good that I put a link for the other day Sparkle, but they have lots of different designs/colours if you liked the bag itself. You shouldn't have any issues getting the free boots bag though
Digi-Vote for Samsung galaxy S here! I've had it since last summer and :heart2: it! I bought it and DH had phone envy after about 10minutes so got one too! (He was adamant that he didn't need a new phone at the time lol) Also have iphone 4 friends who prefer it lol. I went for the galaxy s as I preferred the feel of the phone and its a bit cheaper. The only thing I would like an iphone 4 is for all the official apps, but more and more places seem to be bringing out android apps now, think the only one I wanted but couldn't get before (but can now) is the babycentre one.
Ahh top of the list now!!! Hoping things get moving soon thoughxxx

I must admit I am surprised at the amount of people having to pay for a changing bag, we got ours free with our pram and it is a really decent bag not cheap crap and i'm sure we didn't pay as much for out pram as some people are paying!
DH got a "manbag" and he used that (and will again) when he was taking DD out on his own and it only cost something like a tenner!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Aw Bella that's disappointing about the sweep
Well done you for walking!! I walked round town today and it felt like bubs was really burrowing deep into my pelvis then i started getting some cramping, so driving home I had to tell DH NOT to drive over any bumps LOL, maybe I should have been telling him too! I just can't do long walks at all it gets so painful.

Thanks hun, I was pleased that she could at least reach it this time though (with the help of a pelvic tilt, which my usual mw did not try!) and she said she gave it a bit of a prod to try and help move things along so still keeping fingers crossed. Urg the burrowing feels so strange! I was pleased with the walk as normally struggle, but don't know how you do it with a LO (bet they can't wait to meet bubs!), so glad I only have pets to worry about right now, much easier to keep entertained!£2000/£9000=22.2%0 -
Wendz I'm a reflexologist (well I was) you can do the same stuff on your hands. Try pressing the centre of your thumb. You can circle slowly, pressing hard for a few minutes. It's meant to be linked to the pituitary glad which releases oxytocin.
I've been doing it myself today and yesterday and nothings happened though. But I'm only 38 weeks so it's worth a go if your further on.
Might give that a go, I am willing to try most things! Thanks Nic.
Bellabear - sounds like you have been trying lots! I had some pineapple too earlier and might DTD later, OH is keen anyway haha. Good luck! Hope something works for you.
I was getting a bit worried earlier as hadn't felt baby move in a little bit and OH spoke to my tummy and said wake up baby and she moved so he is all pleased now and thinks she likes him best hehe.0 -
Well my v day has come and gone, I'm 24+2 now so a big sigh of relief here. I have a scan on Monday, it's my 22nd birthday on Wednesday and my 25 week midwife appointment is on Thursday. Busy busy!
Hope you ladies are ok. My internet is broke so I'm on my phone. Congrats to new mummies, labour vibes and hugs to those who need them x x xWife and mother :jGrocery budget

Morning all
I'm up far too early for a Sunday! I hate it when you wake needing the loo around 6am, it's just not worth going back to bed.
The baby was moving about like mad last night and seemed to completely change sides. All of a sudden there was a back/bottom shape lump on my left side. It has been on my right the whole way through. I thought it would of ran out of space to move by now.
I started to feel a few tightenings last night, but I think it was just from baby Michael Flatly.
Labour vibes to Bella, Emma and other boldies.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
