Well my v day has come and gone, I'm 24+2 now so a big sigh of relief here. I have a scan on Monday, it's my 22nd birthday on Wednesday and my 25 week midwife appointment is on Thursday. Busy busy!

Hope you ladies are ok. My internet is broke so I'm on my phone. Congrats to new mummies, labour vibes and hugs to those who need them x x x

Yay for 24 weeks :j I felt much more relaxed after this point, and it seemed to go very quickly.

Labour vibes to Bella and Emma_O!

Thanks for the comments re bags, I'd been lusting after 'proper' ones but my MSE-ness has taken over, thanks all for showing me the light... Koala I know what you mean re it slipping off shoulders and this is why want to get one with a strap I can put over the handle bars, as I am petite anyway so handbags tend to slip off my shoulder anyway unless they're certain styles I like.

Sequeena glad you're past 24 weeks now! Each step closer is exciting but scary too isn't it...Sweetpea has been so active this week for me, wk 25, so I figure his snoozes in week 23 and 24 were the building up energy stage!

Sequeena – yay for viability, hope all scans and appointments go well this week!

Nic – I seem to get tightening from baby moving too, think they have very little room to move.

OH has told me that I can't go into labour today as he is working at the football match at Wembley and won't be able to get away easilly lol. My prediction for ages is that i will have baby on 18th so i reckon if i go into labour tonight I can have it tomorrow, sounds like a great plan...

Chicky, wow! Hope you and bubs are doing well, sorry to hear it was scary, but Congrats!

Nic, i find the way bubs is moving now can be very confusing as sometimes it does feel like tightenings, not good when your waiting for them! boo for the early morning wakeup.

Wendz-s*ds law it'll happen today then! Having said that I've been trying to tempt fate for the last few weeks and its not worked!

Sequeena-Congrats for viability! Think i finally started to relax a bit at that point :)

Thanks for the labour vibes, keep them coming please! 2/3 sleeps til induction otherwise...

Labour vibes to anyone else that wants/needs them xx

    Wow Congratulations Chicky!

Huge Labour vibes to all of the boldies too!

Grr I got woken up by the neighbours children outside screaming about 8.30 this morning - surely common courtesy is to not let children out to play that early on a Sunday morning?

Ordered my pram yesterday, http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-sola-2-in-1-flora/103575600/type-i/ it should be here on 3rd May - so am very excited to have a play with it!

The baby was moving about like mad last night and seemed to completely change sides. All of a sudden there was a back/bottom shape lump on my left side. It has been on my right the whole way through. I thought it would of ran out of space to move by now.
I started to feel a few tightenings last night, but I think it was just from baby Michael Flatly.

    .

Maybe you do have a wee dancer in there, mine tends to sit to the right too, even the midwife commented on it. My bubs is soooo quiet though, I have very little movement (not too quiet to be worried about though.....well I don't think anyway? reassurance ladies please :D).

Very nice apricot!!! love the colours, it's really unusual.

  • All this took of baby bags...I had a Yummy Mummy bag when I had Ruby & this time round I've gone for this Il Tutto -

    http://www.iltutto.co.uk/shop/item/nico-berry

I made it pretty clear to hubby that I was in love with it & he took the hint & bought it me for Christmas :D I'm very lucky indeed. The way I see it is that I don't use a handbag & the baby bag becomes the bag that has to do both jobs so I want something that not only looks good but I can chuck stuff in it for me & both kids & this is def big enough to get all of our stuff in it. I also like the fact that this bag is fully lined with lots of pockets etc but the lining actually zips out so when you have finished using it as a baby bag you can use it as an every day bag...It's beautiful!

I've got it all packed with baby bits now ready for the big event! Still need to do my own bag. Should get on with it really I'm almost 36 weeks...Time has flown by!
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

Teenie my youngest son barely moved throughout my entire pregnancy with him to the extent that I was on first name terms with the day unit and sonography staff as it was concerning the consultant too.....however he is 2.5 now and has not stopped moving and making noise since the second he entered the world! Think he was just saving his energy. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
